  1. Best to reuse and run them down hard on Electric Car Batteries Might Be Worth Recycling, But Bus Batteries Aren't Yet (arstechnica.com) · · Score: 1

There are a lot of lithium battery -ode designs. Reuse first. A 50kWH pack can run at half capacity for a while until all the important stuff gives out. I take worn out IMR batteries (3AH, 15A continuous draw) from vaping and reuse them for flashlights. It's like a nursing home for them.

After they exhaust all the charge cycles, then they go to the recycle bin.

Looks like a solid Chinese clone of the RING, and the SD card and de-mount notifications are appreciated.

I've not heard of SDVR, and was wondering if it can dump stuff to a NAS on the same network? I just don't know what the heck SDVR means. Google wasn't much help.

Or, if it's the other way, does it just keep the SD card network shared so you can review videos whenever?

This sounds like my iPod Video (5G). Sure, I can replace the hard drive and battery, but I'd have to gently separate the case clips and screen from the front cover just to get in.

Dedicated people can do it, but clumsy people like me can't. This sort of thing is what made 3rd party repair shops a thing, whether or not Apple gets money from it.

Either they want to give a nod to those 3rd party shops (doubtful) or they cut costs on the entire manufacturing line to use default, mass produced parts that are also sold to every other motherboard manufacturer.

In v48, addon signing was REQUIRED, with no about:config workaround like in previous versions.

I'm still sitting on v47 until I find a way to run unsigned (read: old/unsupported but still working) addons. The authors aren't going to resurrect something they made three years ago just to get it approved. They got some donations already and moved on.

It's not like gamepads based on USB ever took off after the late 90s.

I remember when I could run Firefox on a USB stick with less than 100MB memory usage! And 200MB with the flash plugin!

They've always had customization, addons, extensions, and everything else. As time went on however, in handling all those APIs, it slows down. Then, some of the addon authors slow it down even more. Maybe it's because they use Javascript for everything?

I know this is a totally vague question, but it went from slim to bloated fast.

Borrowing from one game to the successor is alright, but they've borrowed a good deal from Diablo II for the original WoW. As long as it's all in good taste, I say let it.

Also, when thinking of the monk, I think of the official expansion for Diablo 1 that added the Monk class originally.
