    ....if they went out better than that...something fun for the players, not so sappy

    they shoulda turned it all PvP, and each day for like a month they'd continuously add more mobs.....once you died, you're DEAD...no coming back.....no creating new chars. and then finally they'd come up with a final survivor and he'd win something

    the pimsleur series....gets you actually speaking it out loud, you can hear how it's supposed to be said...and it starts with the more useful stuff that you could actually use, and builds up from there

    this in addition to working on it with ACTUAL fluent spanish speakers has really worked well for me

    really...SOMEONE doesn't like Sony. Half of the 13 points, weren't even additions to the "downfall", just a convenient paragraph separator it seemed. "Well, I have 13 paragraphs here, how about I make it look like I really thought this out and it's not just a rant?!?!"

    and those that DID have something to do with the topic, were actually just psychic predictions, presented in the present tense. really, why didn't the writer just say "i hate Sony!!!!" and end with that, would have achieved the same and not been a waste of my time.

    yes it's OBVIOUSLY the ps3 buyers that lose

    ok...seriously though...basically they're getting a system that won't be taken advantage of for 5 years...so...for the next 5 years they'll be getting games at the same quality as the other systems out, and then, once they know how to fully utilize the hardware and the rest of the world can utilize what it has to offer, they WON'T have to buy a new system. i guess i forgot that keeping one system for 10 years, that still is a viable competitor throughout its whole existance, is a BAD thing

    i think i'm the only one....all it was saying is that Microsoft believes that training on the system will help more than just giving it to them, which is why they believe open source isn't as good because nobody is there showing them how to use the systems......so, since Microsoft is there helping...then they are better.....

    that quote was taken totally out of context and I think that they are right, sure there will be a few who can pick up the open source stuff on their own but nothing compares to hands on training by a professional

    very bad idea......one more chance for someone to steal your credit card number and you aren't even BUYING anything from it....it's one thing if i at least was getting something out of the deal, but to just be getting a trailer when they steal it?? that's sad

    this is like when companies use your SS number for verification or worse, for your employee ID...it wasn't designed for that and should not be used for that

    yes there are lots of reasons to have the harddrive, i never said there weren't, i SAID (yes, this takes READING abilities) that if there is an option to NOT have the harddrive, the game makers are not going to wanna make extra content and all that stuff that will alienate part of the audience...they're going to have to cater to both people with and those without the harddrive, which is NOT what they were promised......in the end they aren't going to want to waste the time on all that extra stuff because they'll still have to make it a good game WITHOUT the stuff

    entiende??

    and whoever modded this as flamebait is an idiot....there was nothing about that post that even came close....

    yes...RIGHT NOW there aren't any because they haven't had all that much time to figure out everything they can do with the system.....but now developers have to make sure that their games can be played without a harddrive, so, if every one CAN be played without a harddrive...why do the other people have the harddrive (besides listening to music)??!?

    it seems to me that everyone who buys the one with the harddrive will be getting screwed since the harddrive won't really add to the gaming experience....it's like getting a really fast car, but then realizing that since everyone else is going 5mph, you have to go that speed

    Hiring 15,000 people would cost millions. Forcing them to compete cost $10k.

    well....it actually cost them $155,000 in prizes plus i'm assuming they picked up the bill to fly the top 100 there AND for room and board

    but yes, much more cost effective still, although I don't feel that this kind of a competition shows as much about a coder as through other means, impressive, but there is more to a coder than what is shown here

    that's the way i understood it also, but, it seems to me that they would have to spin the camera around pretty quick the full 360 degrees???

    the way i understand it, it is grabbing the full 360 degree and figuring out the difference between frames..let's say at degree 30 there is a fish, and the next pass at degree 30 the fish has moved to the right, this would figure out what it would most likely look like between that period...but, to make this anywhere near realistic looking, you would have to be swinging that thing real fast

    maybe i'm completely off on what they're doing and i'm making up the whole spinning camera thing.....as....i don't see how they could "fake" a full 180 dgrees, and if someone was running this type of spinning camera it they'd get very dizzy, or you'd have to do it remotely somehow to start and stop....hmmm...

    if i'm off, please let me know....as...i wanna start work on MY 360 degree video idea...ha

    will hopefully change a lot of peoples views on gaming... instead of just sitting there for days on end, it can be used as a learning tool and actually encourage creativity a step in the right direction to bring a nice light on gaming, what with all the bad press GTA and MMORPGS bring along (not that they're bad in my eyes, but they do get a lot of bad press)

    what exactly would i use drag and drop for?? i can see drag and drop being useful for things like dressing mr potato head....but, i just don't think he wants to wear a jacket trying to convince my girlfriend to get back together with me without folders in gmail, there isn't a need to drag and drop imo
