Wow, this sounds pretty interesting. I also have T-Mobile and a bluetooth phone (Motorola V330). What does T-Mobile charge for internet service? Also, does this really drain the battery on your phone?
Finally, maybe now those idiots at OpenOffice.org can finally get all of those MS files to work properly in their software. How many years have they been working on this and they still can't get it right. WTF have they been doing?
The reply to that is: "Hey, everybody's doing it."
I'll draw an analogy from the world of sports. Many athletes take steroids just because "everyone else is doing it" and they think that this will just level the playing field.
So in the business world, if you don't patent your ideas, someone else might. And then you're boned. You gotta stay ahead of the competition. So, obviously we need to fix the patent system and stop these patents in the first place.
Show me anywhere in history that lack of freedom has corresponded to scientific achievement.
Nazi Germany had a tremendous amount of scientific and technological achievement. Freedoms or not, war seems to be to good of a catalyst to spur advancements.
Seems to me that as time goes on, the more quickly things change. This is true for pretty much anything, not just science and tech. Maybe you can predict what the next 5 or 10 years will be like, but I don't think you can claim that "The new century will be the century of Biology." With such a high rate of change, it's likely that there will be a radical change within the next decade. At which point, people will then make a new prediction for the rest of the century.
She thought she could get rid of me with that rejection via email. Now I've got reasonable doubt about her feelings. Until I get that court order, of course.
We bow down to you, oh great biotech overlord. If you would be so generous as to impart your knowledge of all things biotech, we might one day be able to distinguish what is news and what isn't.
Until then, we'll just continue to learn things as we become aware of them.
Jihad doesn't mean killing and your definition is wrong.
Then why is violent Jihad so widespread? If it is just a few extremists, as many argue, then why does manifest itself all over the world: US, UK, France, Germany, Australia, Indonesia, Russia, Sudan, etc? Why did the Palestinian people just elect Hamas? Or, are you now going to argue that Hamas is non-violent?
I added that last comment to avoid the response you gave, but I got it anyway.
Clearly, it is economically infeasible to stop doing business with China. All I'm asking is, does the gov't have the power to stop someone from doing business with China, not should they.
I'm no expert on this, but is it not true that U.S. companies are currently forbidden to do business with/in Cuba? If so, what's stopping the U.S. government from instituting the same restrictions for China? (I'm talking legally, not economically)
Wow, thanks for providing yourself as proof of my claim.
Unfortunately, for most people, a source isn't biased if you agree with it.

Many people download Linspire
Implies: geeks are using Linspire
Conclusion: who cares, nothing new
Many people buy computers with Linspire on them
Implies: regular, 'non-geek' people are using Linspire
Conclusion: increase in Linux adoption

That's gonna be tough if they catch us going to pink colored websites...

Can we please stop linking to these damn blogs. Especially ones that are nearly devoid of any useful info.
"You have selected regicide. If you know the king or queen being murdered, press 1."
Meh, I think close buttons on tabs are kinda worthless. You can close a tab by just middle-clicking it.

I suppose that if we do this and we show that it works, then other countries will follow suit. Big 'if' though.
Could that be any more vague? Are we going to see amazon.xxx?

Ah, the circle of life...

Wow, you just gave a good argument justifying the Iraq War. Hurry up and retract before you're banned from /.!!
My university has instructed all students to switch to firefox.
I didn't know I was making music all these years.
Good thinking Joe, but I think a real number would be more effective.

I don't know about a felony, but it's definitely a crime. I't a DDoS attack. A little crude, but it does the job.
