Be glad they don't do the Sony model, which Samsung have recently adopted with their Samsung Galaxy line:
* Sell item advertising features that are deal-makers for some customers * Remove those advertised feature at a later date, calling it an improvement (Samsung did this with the S7 Edge) * Try to get same customers to upgrade to $newflagship
What I want in a TV is: * a multitude of inputs (despite using an AV receiver I like additional inputs) including composite, component, HDMI, and VGA * 4K resolution w/ HDR * 3D (granted it would be = 1080)* * frame interpolation/"smoothing" (I hate 24Hz jitter when scenes pan) * Multiple selectable video setting profiles (I like bright settings for some shows, "movie" settings for most, and a custom profile for late-night viewing with blues diminished)
What I don't want: * Apps that will be orphaned before the warranty is expired * Microphone/camera (I'd tape over the cam then when warranty is expired, open it and de-solder the mic and cam or break the lens and diaphram)
*Manufacturers fucked up with 3D; they pushed it before the tech was ready, then when the tech finally matured they killed off 3D. They should have not focused on 3D in the beginning but offered it as a 'free bonus feature" and should have waited until the tech was matured before pushing it as the killer feature. I want a 3D set now and can't find a new one; just "new old stock" from brands I don't want, or smaller screens.:-(
Also since the GPS tracker was installed into the vehicle and the vehicle transferred ownership and then the stealership accessed it without authorization he should press charges for unauthorized access to a computer system (actually many counts; add up all the impacted computerized circuits in the path of the ECU, ignition module, CAN bus network, OBD network, and the GPS tracker/immobilization unit itself) plus wire fraud. Those will have some serious teeth.:-D
Owner should find a really successful attorney and push to have the stealership prosecuted for unauthorized access to a computer and for wire fraud; both of those have some serious teeth and could land the mechanic in prison indefinitely.
By those standards both nicotine and alcohol should be outlawed; Both have limited medicinal use but both are as addictive as heroin and kill far more people than they safe. nicotine in particular is abused by nearly every single cigarette smoker, with only extremely few people limiting it to medicinal use (and for the few medicinal uses nicotine has (stress reduction, treating IBS, limited migraine reduction effects), there are far better alternatives, including cannabis).
You're far better off going with cameras that support either ONVIF or RTSP and a DVR system that supports both open standards, then you can use quality cameras like Axis, or cheap ones where resolution and clarity aren't as critical. That way you're free to choose from any number of quality or cheap vendors and spend money for quality where clarity matters (ingress/egress points, high-value items, etc.) and cheaper where it's less critical (monitoring movement through an area; you can ID the perps via higher-quality cameras at entrance/exit points).
I haven't encountered that since I finally decided to upgrade to the 64-bit build; that bug was so annoying I decided the older plugins didn't matter.:)
Headaches go away (so... between may and December I am migraine-free when I go foraging and eat on the spot), aromas and taste and colors become more intense. at 5g the room is spinning and I feel agitated- creeping malaise (creepy-crawly feeling) but stuff like grass and trees and woodgrain look like they're fluid. I invariably puke though - my stomach does not agree with shrooms. Totally worth it though - far better than suffering through 3+ migraines a week with occasional cluster headaches in between. If they offer this in tablets I'm in because I am sick of popping Imitrex all the time, since Imitrex is only mildly effective, while mushrooms totally prevent them for me. It'd be nice to be able to just pop a pill and not puke my guts out, and not have to search for mushrooms in the wood and eat on the spot (unlawful to collect and take home to eat, but lawful to consume on the spot).

There are Samsung "rounded corner" devices which predate Apple's bullshit "design patent"
You mis-read the summary. Go back and re-read it. It's pretty clear that reference total stations owned by any one entity exceeding service to > 39% of households.
> This month’s stupid patent, US Patent No. 6,690,400 (the ’400 patent), claims the idea of using “virtual cabinets” to graphically represent data storage and organization.
"Magic Desk" for the Commodore 64 (released in 1983) used virtual file cabinets. So did GEOS applications, IIRC.
Is their car going to be at all serviceable or is everything epoxied together, requiring you to have to have it towed to a "genius shop" only to be told "sorry it's unserviceable and you didn't buy Applecare, so would you like to buy iCar 2.0 for the low, low price of $132k?"
Agreed. 45's administration is setting out to commit so much willful evil that it makes no sense to "blame" this on his administration. If they arrived at this conclusion based on previous policies and guidelines that the population growth is such that the species is not in any danger of going extinct it is rather silly to "blame" 45 for this reclassification.

VR goggles are great for commercial flights. I bring my Gear VR and Sennheiser headphones with me, then I watch movies on the virtual huge screen and don't care if I can't get a window seat.:)
Great idea for frequent fliers; it's unlikely the airlines will keep up with the news and let even a refurb Note 7 on after the scare unless it's relabeled with an amended model number.

So, basically... we in America are afraid of school girls. Seems accurate.

Oh, and I forgot to add:

Meanwhile, kubuntu will continue to exist, delivering a superior KDE-driven user experience! :D

Except, the idiots willingly attend their two minute hate, er, I mean, trump rallies.
