You're basically subsidizing all the other people who end up at the ER without health insurance and who otherwise can't pay. We already have de facto socialized medicine in the USA.
I don't know about that. Corporations are not just things, they are collections of people. A corporation is nothing without people. Look at the first amendment to the USA constitution:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Since a corporation is an assembly of people, does it not follow that they are allowed to petition the government?
I don't buy it. Every population has some members with autoimmune diseases. But the Black death reached its peak in Europe.

Wait a minute. You're not even supporting the game creators by just keeping your store bought copy. Instead you return it and then download a copy so you can play for free? Where's the "-1, ungrateful leech" option?
Are you sure about that? I bought the Windows 7 upgrade and put it on my computer. I didn't have a prior version of Windows. It still runs after all these months.
You know what? Obama is also white! Most people really forget that he's half Irish.
While I'm at it, most people consider Tiger Woods black, but he's only 1/4 African. He's also 1/4 Thai and 1/4 Chinese, so it's more accurate to say he's Asian.
Get yourself a kill a watt meter and find out. My Athlon64 computer with 7200 RPM 500 GB hard drive idles at 40 W. The TV, when off, still pulls 5 W! Now I just plug everything but the computer to a common surge protector and flip it's switch when I'm not watching TV or playing console games

No, courts would probably strike down a law making copyrights not expiring, hence adding more years to existing copyright law. I think there was a court argument regarding this but I can't seem to find it.
If he's trying to recreate a game from the 1980s, any relevant patents would have already expired by now.

Although I think this is ripe for a pizza analogy. If only someone could come up with one...
Take a look at his user name. Then slowly back away while you nod and smile.
Unfortunately, the rest of the population does not agree with you.
A Man much wiser than me once said "When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty. "
Which is true today?
Depends where you are. In Somalia, it would seem that the government (and everyone else) does indeed fear the people.

And those who aren't saved go to robot hell, and must play the fiddle and beat the robot devil in order to leave.
But could you get one for $100? Actually, you still can't. Wake me up when it comes to the USA for =$100.
Why? Why bother?
How about spending the money on something better? Or do you have the best edjucation, healthcare, housing and schooling already?
Clearly we need better education here!
How's that different from any other president?
"Read my lips; no new taxes." O RLY Mr. Bush?

You know what else De Beers is peeved about? Man-made diamonds. They're cheaper and more ethical than anything De Beers can find in Sierra Leone.
If they didn't have Holmes, they'd have to all get real jobs and work for a living.
I wonder what the other Holmes's reaction would be? Thinking long and hard until he had an explosive idea I suppose.
Won't someone please think of the lawyers?
