A nuclear power plant will never be safe because of greed. Fusion is the techno that will be available in 50 years. THEN in 50 years it will be available in 50 years ans so on ad nauseum.
If the gobernemt did not subsidize Nuke energy it could not exist. No insurance company will insure a nuke plant. QED Nuke plants should not be built. No matter what new tech is invented there will also be the unexpected. What about the spent fuel? Who pays to store and clean that up. In short NUKE plants is a NO GO !
NOTE: Most if not all nuke plants are not efficiently in terms of thermodynamics that is the carnot cycle as opposed to modern coal plants. I think modern electric plants use steam to extract more electricity. Nuke plants just boil water which is less efficient. The only reason that nuke plants are built this way is because uranium is cheap.

I think it's true with the following caveat i.e. that is the teenager has self-confidence and inherent (genetic?) talent. What is management after all? You ask people under you whom are supposedly competent (and not kissing your ass telling you what you want to hear to get promoted) about an issue. Get varying opinions and then decide and implement. You don't even really have to understand even the business you are managingt. You can always ask an underling for an executive summary.
As an example look at our current President (I even voted for him shite). All he does is manage by committee and ask opinions and make one stupid decision after another. A 12 year old could run our country better than this idiot. Instead of making a definite decision a la Theodore Roosevelt, all he does is worry about getting reelected and accomplishes absolutely nothing. Truly incompetent. Not that Bush was any better.
