  1. Re:Classic Atari TV ads on More Worst Videogame Ads · · Score: 1
I like how by the end of the commercial, the family living room perplexingly includes a construction worker and a pilot. Did they receive some telepathic signal, "Get to the Jones' house posthaste! Atari has arrived and only the chosen few can experience Its glory." Bizarre.

If you really want to scar yourself for life, try seeking to about the 0:24 mark in the commercial, at the very end when the Atari logo pops onto the screen. The squeals of delight rapidly change into cries of horror, as if Atari morphed into some otherworldy being of terror, consuming their souls as they watched helplessly. Sorta like the end sequence in Raiders of the Lost Ark, minus the melty faces.

What about running the boxes as Linux native and providing Windows support via some virtualization software (i.e. VMWare). It's not like these people are gaming, so performance shouldn't be too much of an issue. As long as windows is confined to its little sandbox, the only reinstall needed is a simple rollback to the original Windows image.

The G8 is an *economic* summit. They don't directly dictate political or military policy. Granted, mp3 "piracy" isn't a pressing issue when compared to 3rd World debt or China's artifical monetary valuation, but it's at least relevant.

I don't think the grandparent was saying that an uncontrolled giant rocket launch on Morocco is a bad thing because "Morocco is filled with radical muslims." Rather, the GP was saying any nation on the receiving end of giant uncontrolled rockets is a bad thing. Morocco was used as an example due to its latitude on the other side of the Atlantic.

I have a feeling impairment due to alcohol consumption goes up significantly once the blood alcohol level goes beyond 0.08. Don't forget, not too long ago 0.08 was legal in most states. It's not like "drunk driving" is some magic switch triggered by that 3rd drink.
