That's pretty much exactly how I play Rage. "Oh, there's a bit of cover across that gorge, I bet there's a *BLAM BLAM* Yup, there was." "Oh, there's a catwalk in the sewer... If I get closer *BLAM BLAM* yup, mutants." Every room, every corner, it's the same way. There's no way to sneak up on them, except the few they've designated as being able to sneak up on... And those you can walk in range without sneaking... You just have to sneak to get closer.
I don't have this issue. Someone else (with an nvidia 560ti, which I think is what I have) said they experience it with higher levels of AA, but not lower levels. I think I had mine set at none.
I've been having fun with it, even though I only got to play for about 45minutes before work.
My only complaint so far is that the enemies seem to pop in from nowhere, unlike other FPS/RPGs that have enemies that are always on the map. This might just be a bad impression from the first mission, but that's how it seems so far.
Nope, right-handed and I use that hand for almost all keypads. The only deviance is when a keypad is placed such that I can't easily use it right-handed. (Security alarms, ATMs, and gas pumps can end up this way.)
You don't dial a phone with the same fingers you punch a calculator with. At least, not if you're a touch-typist. And if you aren't, why would you worry about this in the first place?
I learned the 10-key calculator in middle school and have never, ever had a problem with the fact that some keypads are upside-down from the standard 10-key layout.
The whole credit card incident with Sony has already slipped your memory? Fraud of many sorts. Destruction of your personal property, both physical and electronic.
There are plenty of reasons.
If there weren't, why would they bother with this?
The barriers aren't being 'smashed apart'. They're being lowered, gradually. There's still a massive difference between games written in Javascript/WebGL and C++/OpenGL. It isn't even comparable yet.
Really? The world of games is a fascinating, insanely varied place that really does have to be experienced first hand to be appreciated. It's an enormous amazing world, universe... I can't get the idea that someone would voluntarily miss experiencing most of it and feel happy about that.
I'm not going to get to the end of my life and think, "Gee, I wish I had spent more time outdoors", either.
While you're preparing for a good life later, I'm living a good life now. I've seen too many people that only plan for the future, throwing away their life to get some imagined success later. You have to enjoy life NOW.
Sure, some thought should be put into also having a good life later, but getting outside is not going to do that for me. In fact, it's much more likely that staying inside and working on the next big thing will do that for me than random nature hikes.
Live your life however you want Bob, but stop telling others how to live theirs.
If that disclosure thing is correct, and the courts actually see it that way, then this system is much better. First-disclosed is much better for the community than first-invented or first-filed. It's an incentive to actually report new inventions, so that everyone can eventually benefit from them.
I read that and assumed the pirate version was an early release, and since torrents can't be updated, it hasn't been. And why should they spend more time on that version?
I know at least some people bought it because of this.
I did, for one. I heard the name long ago and thought it was interesting. When they did this, I thought about pirating it to demo it, but then I just decided to pay the $10.
I'm not sure it was worth it, but I think once ep2 is out (which we get for free, if we bought) then it will be.
I don't doubt that there are currently people who others rally around. But nobody can speak for the whole group. There is no real leadership. If someone tomorrow decided to do new and horrible things in the name of Anonymous, nobody could stop them. It's not owned by anyone. If every person who had ever said they were part of Anonymous died today, the group would still exist tomorrow. That's the very nature of it.
So you can't treat them as a group and call that group 'Anonymous'. You can target certain people who claim membership, but you can't target the group and have any meaningful data.
That they ran an assessment and decided that just means that they don't understand the group.
It was well worth the money just for the shipping for me. I save at least $80/yr on shipping with it. And the media was a bonus. This will be an awesome bonus.
They said they could encourage you to lie, not that they could force you not to be able to tell the truth. That's quite different.
The article says they were more likely to lie, not that they had no choice. (Okay, the second article says they can force it... Sounds like spin to me. They have no idea what they're talking about.)

Nope, I have a 550ti. Pretty close.

This is seriously a non-issue in every regard.

If they decide to block Samsung's products with frivolous lawsuits, then yeah... I expect that's what'll happen.
But so far, it's only Apple that's tried that.

My thoughts exactly on bugs vs rats.

The summary clearly says it's rendered in the cloud on 256 cores. That link should read: "Wolfenstein: Ray Traced" on Tablets.
Until I actually get my hands on the language, no amount of hype is going to do anything for me.
Besides which, CoffeeScript has got to be stealing their thunder. I have to wonder if they aren't regretting developing Dart yet.

It's an app on the TV, not DLNA or anything. My TV also has a NetFlix app.

And Samsung TVs. http://www.amazon.com/gp/video/ontv/samsung
And other devices, I'm sure.

Rogue-like has already been used. It's very confusing to say your DB query language is like a video game.

Ditto for the truth telling, btw.
TV goes a long way to perpetuate that, too, by always showing nice, upstanding people talking to the police and only assholes refuse to talk.
