Why can't it be used to supplement our current diet so that we still eat beef, but just have less of it? That alone would help. If you give people an ultimatum of course they'll reject and resent it.
It's a problem in every developed part of the world, as is proper disposal of e-waste. We simply can't keep this up.
I am buying as little as possible of both. Choosing foods that have as little packaging as possible, bringing my own container to the butcher, baker, resisting upgrading or buying gadgets as much as possible and finding people who can actually use my old stuff.
Now if only browsers would isolate resources from third party web sites so they can't scrape info from other parts of the page or grab keyboard/mouse input, and allow per-page access to certain hardware like mic/camera/filke system, then it would go much further.
Https stops ISPs and nodes from tapping info, but a lot of third parties end up with all of that anyway.
Just as PC is best known as the platform for pirates. Give me a break. Kodi is a great front end for PVRs and the best home theater software, for playing back your DVDs and BDs from a NAS, and streaming videos from various legal plugins for hosted content from good quality web sites like IGN and GiantBomb, as well as music and other broadcasts streamed online. Associating it with piracy is very incorrect, reductive, and an extreme disservice.
They can't unbuy something they own and use regularly, they can only supplement it
At this rate we'll need a separate device for each service we want to use... Amazon, Google, Netflix, Disney, HBO, Hulu, is this a ploy to drive people back to cable?
I like my Mi Band 2 because it allows me to set my phone aside and get only important notifications from my family (through the Mi Band Tools app where I can filter them).
Restricting my impulse to look at crap on my phone or browse the internet at all is important to me, I have to undo all of that bad training and this helps. It cost less than $40, battery lasts a month, and it helps me count steps and monitor heart rate when I exercise.
I hated watches before because I didn't want to always know what time it was (anxiety), and hated having anything on my wrist besides. But the advantages here have me wearing something again, and the on-demand screen is unobtrusive and I only see information when I want to.
A good chunk of content will be taken out of netflix for Disney's own streaming service. With content being split up again and viewers not wanting to go back to cable with its appointment based viewing schedule, it looks like piracy will probably be on the rise again.
Linux programs, scripts, solutions, will now be able to interact with Windows and services that are unique to Windows, creating Linux solutions which will depend on Windows to work properly.
I limit my exposure, and force time restrictions on my own browsing. I will only allow myself to browse certain set times and when I feel I need to look some information up, I take note and either wait for that time or consider alternatives.
I did that as well, it became an automatic process. Now I PVR TV shows that get dumped on my PC where a script removes the ads automatically and then we watch at our leisure.
They use yearly releases to switch things around in the interface and change around options, as well as reset preferences.
If there was consistency and refinement then that would be much more user friendly, not to mention carrying forward preferences and selected defaults as opposed to the big upheaval of installing a new version of Windows for example.
It would be nice to get a wider variety of HDR monitors, of all sizes as well. Something 55"-70"" with the low latency of a monitor would be great but there doesn't seem to be anything available
I don’t know why all people aren’t fascinated with it. It makes beautiful sounds, and it makes a lot of times some incredible light. It runs many things in our world and it’s beautiful. It’s sometimes dangerous, but it’s magical. It’s such a power and it can make some beautiful images and sounds.”

When electrons run down a wire— do they have that power. It’s amazing. How did a plug or an outlet get to be shaped that way? And lightbulbs: I can feel these random electrons, you know, hitting me. Naturally
I wish it was easier to use on Linux, especially to control Kodi. I've tried to hack together multiple solutions with no success.

Thank you :)

This will backfire and people will just end up blaming youtube, searching for another service on their device that will work
They can layer their own encryption on top rendering this issue moot

That's the extend part.

Does it have plugins for all the various game music sound formats such as NSF, GYM, SPC, etc?

Yes! I love that aspect.

Tell them to leave it at a local pick-up. I do that and just pick it up on the way home.
It's the best IMO, but Apple doesn't seem to allow apps that compete with theirs.
