I heard a couple of days ago on the a radio talk program that they had performed a hyperbolic or metabolic (don't remember) chamber test and the those that drank the product expended more calories than those that drank regular green tea, by 60 calories or so. I don't know how may servings they drank though. I prefer Black coffee. There has to be some calories lost with its caffeine and diuretic qualities.

Most companies still use databases to store their data. You use your fancy queiries to pull your data into a spread sheet from there you make a fancy pivot table that you use to prepare you financials. The point (or part of) of the audit to to follow your work papers from financial statements to your database and to reality. The auditors are likely to catch your "Material" mistakes. Sox doesn't mandate that a firm provides complete assurance that there are not material mistakes.
I wonder what the study used to keep track of data. I bet for sure that they used Excel or SPSS.
Is this going to be the newest feature on turnitin.com (a plagiarism site used by professors and such) to make sure you didn't cheat by having your AIBO right your paper?
Preface: I think the article is referring to Macro Evolution Lets leave micro out of this because even hardcore creationist (7000 year old earth guy) have a hard time supporting that micro if false.
I think the real issue here is the misuse of a grant. From the article it appears that the proposal was to do a study whether ID was ruining evolution. Their grant denial seems to come from the assumption that Evolution=Science to the extent that they state:
... "intelligent design" - a controversial creationist theory of life - is eroding acceptance of evolutionary science in Canada.
I guess the granters didn't think evolution had evolved (sorry I couldn't help it) to the point of acceptable science to the tune of 40K.
Assuming evolution is not equal to proven hard science. Here is the logic I think the grantor is trying to avoid.
ID is eroding evolution!
Lets have a study to show how ID is harming evolution.
We got money to prove ID is hurting science since they accepted our proposal that assumed evolution is complete science.
Go to a CPA. CPA's can loose their license to practice as a CPA.

It is a lot worse loose your CPA license than if a evening tax preparer to have to pick up a seasonal job. I doubt HR block would sell your info though even if they could.
Yeah, but if your and executive and you see gadget candy aren't you going to get one for the cool(/uber cool) factor. And don't you bet all the self-employed guys might get one because they will find a way to right it off on their taxes as equipment business expense.

You still only save $2001 dollars. Plus if you plan on driving it 200,000 miles that would take most people about 14 years. Plus if you put the money you were going to spend on the solar panel in say Oil stock and got a measly 12% return (below most market average returns) you would have over $10,000. You could almost by a few acres of very rural land and protect that part of the environment.
The replies to this article's response posts make me doubt your reasoning abilities. The entire defense (or frame work) of Macro Evolution has turned to sarcasm and name calling.
If you have to start name calling and relying on sarcasm to strengthen a scientif-(pol)-ical viewpoint then you have a weaker intellectual basis than you thought.: You must have a framework work to... Your complete framework is based on making fun of people. It is so focused on trying to say something funny enough to score a 2 on Slashdot. Most of your sarcastic remarks are a 2 rated by other people who believe what you believe anyways. Wow you are so consumed by your pseudo intellectualism you are reduced to ignore the complete contradiction between thermodynamics and evolution (just a side note). You're only a like few billion years wrong. Look I am about to get through my entire comment with out calling you "Stupid". I believe most of you mother would consider me more intelligent than you based on I don't have to attack people I disagree with name calling. Wow you prove your point by making fun of people. Thats higher thinking.

If I could draw here would be my description of a cartoon.
Picture any great thinker eating a large bowl of FSM and the caption would read, "MMMM... this is good satire, but I am afraid it will not satisfy my hunger."
Getting up to go to the bathroom might?

Mythtv was accepted as a project. I would recomment working with them because it is an app most people could potential use.

How long will it be until spam bots are programed to find googlepages websites and harvest the user names?
You could move one jumper on the board and overclock that puppy. I got it all the way up to 33 mhz.
