If you compose sentences for people who don't have command of the language, then you are really quite delusional. As is my understanding, resources are utilised, while tools are used. He was correct in its usage.

What seems to have happened is that some creationists decided to make evolution their litmus test. They decided to make it a big controvery. They decided to tell people that "omfg we have to oppose this with every fiber of our being" and I really haven't a clue why they did that (other than being stupid).
if you think about it for a second, creationists would be the very very last people to use the phrase omfg.

What Norwegians forgets is something very important. A more capitalist society has made this world a very nice place indeed. The number of people starving to death relative to the world population dropped by more than 50%, closer to 75% from 1980 to 2000. This drop came as the result of a more open, more capitalistic world economy.
causation vs correlation? how do you know the drop did not come about because of communist policies in russia and china? china is self-sufficient in food production so communism cant be bad either. the number of people starving to death has been more because of efficiency in agricultural practices and not any particular economic policy.

this makes it legal for 10000 people to buy a DVD each for $20, and screen it for the remaining 9999. so each person gets to see 10000 movies for $20. you may replace screen by P2P-broadcast and 10000 by 100000000 and you will see why content producers cry about "lost business".

While I do appreciate the funny mod, I was also being somewhat serious, if a cop has the authority to shoo you away from a "scene" and make sure you aren't taping him/her doing something, they can still get away with doing "bad things". I guess you just have to tape them covertly? I can also see all sorts of legal issues arising from this. . .good thing the ACLU is backing it up.
i am pretty sure the program is going to monitor stats about how many citizens were shooed away by cops. more than 50% people being shooed away, and the ACLU will launch another request for inquiry.

the program will also likely monitor abuse of cameras for home-videos and porn by picking somewhat responsible citizens from the neighborhood, so all you guys can stop dreaming.
