That I did not hit the F key hard enough. The first word should be "If". Thank you, Anonymous Coward. IF that isn't the issue, and IF you think you need to hire a private detective to spy on your spouse, your relationship is already in serious trouble and communication should be the starting point, not setting traps. Close relationships are about trust, this thing is about mistrust. Just sayin. Heck, if you're setting traps Better Call Saul.
I have several apps on my Samsung Rugby I'll never use. Some are duplicates from Google, Samsung, and my service provider. Some are unremovable games (I don't play games on my phone). Facebook keeps trying to push it's crappy messenger at me that weighs in at over 20 meg, screw that. Options are good, as long as they are optional.
There are plenty of talented people willing to put time into labour and support. There are a ton of people working for free in their spare time outside of their full time time jobs doing stuff that counts. Designers design when their not at work. Carpenters shape wood into what they or someone else wants when they're on free time. There is a market outside of money where talented folks just help each other out. They do it for fun or for a favor returned. It's a part of "all that jazz".
Wait, that's not quite right. The family likes to watch their flickershows so I installed an EXT3 driver for Windows and set up the XBox as a Windows Media Center extender to stream stuff to the TV. We gave up on cable TV a bit over a decade ago. From what I've seen at work on lunch breaks, that was the decision to go with.
After reading a few of the comments, does anyone here know if there is a post launch abort procedure in the case of a system failure or ice strike or while the shuttle is still attached to external rockets?
Dont worry about finding a job, I once got an interview just by saying I enjoyed moderating on Slashdot (really? How's your IPTables?). It was that quick and natural. Thanks for all your work, I've had a lot of fun!
Thank you! As a man who has taken work in a warehouse picking and packing food I appreciate that someone knows that we actually are proud of what we do. I can run servers, have owned my own business (Internet cafes are so the thing of the past) and have worked in a management position. REAL work, however, happens at the bottom. I'm in better shape than I have been since I was 23 years old, and management has me working on a morale boosting program to keep the workers as happy as possible while still getting the work done. This is a company I can work for, and respect. Hell, I'm bottom rung and they address me a Mr. {LastName}.
Wow. Good company. I'm betting Apple is close to if not in that same category. Are there any Apple guys out there that can give us insight into what it's _really_ like to work there, or would you get sued?
I've been using the same username for well over a decade now. I've also, in that time realized that common sense is surprisingly uncommon. I use noscript and adblock plus and erase cookies when I close my browser. I also have to do a bunch of upkeep on my spam filter. The folks who dont have the "common sense" to use these things are my bread and butter.
Some of them also make a big whackload more on their pay than I do.
"The extreme cold there puts ice on the runways, and that of course has to be got rid off for airplanes to take off. That’s where things get badass; they use Klimov VK-1 jet engines from Mig-15 planes, or engines from Mig-17s to thaw the ice. You know, it gets pretty impressive when an engine from a fighter jet gets to work as a snow blower."
Dude, I'd work that job.
Don't they have rock salt where you guys come from? Forgive me, I'm Canadian, but shovel the driveways, use salt on the walkways, and hire guys with trucks and CATs to push the snow outta the way.
`Course, taxes might pop up a notch to pay for those guys to work.
What you think it means. The OP appears to believe that the KDE desktop systems appearance in the movie deserved some sort of kudos. There is a link up there that will tell you all sorts of stuff about it. Just click the bit that reads "KDE 3's performance".
Fengoffice, MyClientBase, and important todonow stuff is on the desktop until it gets finished and filed. When the desktop gets too full of junk (three columns is my max) that's the signal to stop starting new and get to finishing up open projects.
As for personal stuff, I have a/home/me/mycrap directory that is chock full of stuff from the last ten years that is organized somewhat like a chimp throws feces. I leaf through it every now and again, but organized it aint..
Clearly. What's your point?

Then you have serious issues with either your relationship with your lover, trust, or both.

Two very rich guys have concerns about their bodies, and access to information about everyone elses. They get to judge what is improper or not.

Slackware. Dual boot with Win 7 for War Thunder. If War Thunder ran easily on Slack I'd chuck the old 80 Gig drive.
Nothing is more unusual than what you'd find on /b/.
Need I say more?
Point taken.

It really depends on how tasty and easily kept they are. Gorillas are less numerous that cows for herding reasons.
Does anyone else see the irony? It's delicious! Someone spin up "Age Of Aquarius" on the turntable!
And I would take this course where now?
Someone tar and feather the parent, like an IP lawyer.

OK. Coffee. Now.
I think that's an insult to journalistic values! Why kowtow to the govt to get their money when much more is there to be had through blackmail?
Must be. I get e-mails daily all about adding inches to my column.
in my list of reasons not to take 4chan seriously. They've done come stuff I like but this is just retarded.
