By 35, you've seen every trick in the Hollywood book

As some actress was saying in a 1950's movie, "once you've seen one [movie], you've seen them all". As time goes through I have more and more the feeling that this statement was true.

Excuse me, I do not normally do this, although I often feel like doing this, but seeing so many typos in a single word makes me *have* to switch to.. Grammar Nazi mode!

Beauracracy, where should I start, firstly, if you try saying it out loud it sounds like "bora-cracy". Bureaucracy comes from the french word bureau which means office.

Thus, the letters "eau" put together form the closed O sound. The sound formed by the U letter in this context is specific to french, so let's not forget it when we try to pronounce it : "buro-cracy".

This should give you a good idea on how to pronounce it, how it's formed, and therefore how not to mispell it. And yeah, sorry, it's never nice to be corrected by a Grammar Nazi, but sometimes it simply appears to be necessary.

As the other poster who replied to the parent said, the Big Bang is not the only scientific theory, or rather, the Big Bang theory as it is known today suffers severe flaws, that we have attempted to "patch" using dark matter and energy and silly theories involving creating new dimensions.

Unfortunatly we seem to be scared to look for an alternative theory that wouldn't suffer these flows, and an unsufficient amount of efforts are being put into it.

Basically we're just trying to keep the Big Bang theory together by all means necessary, and that's sad.

Where you got that fact from? How many people, dumb or not, die before having kids? A significant percentage? And then, how is IQ linked with odds of dying early? I'd sincerely would want to know.

Anyways, besides having the "dumb" to make more kids, they also make them earlier. Useless to mention that a group of persons making babies younger than another will outnumber the other group due to this sole fact.

After I graduated, I spend almost a year studying CS in college, and dropped. I didn't know what to do so I looked for crappy jobs, and eventually I heard about a french thing call a professionalisation contract.

The principle is the following, during 18 months, you spend one week a month at some kind of school (although it's for adults) studying system administration and the rest of the time you learn while working as a sysadmin in an enterprise, and you're paid 65% (or 85%, if you're over 21) of the normal salary (which brings you about 700-800 a month, without any taxes on it iirc).

After the 18 months, not only did you have a job, although not so well paid, but you are also One True SysAdmin(TM)
