well i have dreaded the day when an antivirus program could do more damage than good.. it shows that human error can occur anywhere. on a kind of off note.. how many viruses dont work properly?? i would like to see some figures of that:)
I also think it was a smart thing to do.. microsoft needs to be involved with the communitys of people a lot more than they are... but im just stating that it seems as though they cant create an origional idea... or never had tired to do one.. its always the same product/service just a little bit more innovative than the last companys move

It may be a brilliant move... but its a move inspired by the competition... which is what has always been microsofts driving force.. for example
Apple GUI -> Windows 1.0
Console wars -> Xbox
Mac OSX tiger -> Vista
Gmail -> Windows live mail

Well people at least need to know there isnt a little gnome inside their case called steve who is putting files into folders and bringing them out again. they should at least know the Very basics of hardware. Like files are stored on a hard drive or the processor makes calculations.. so they know where their stuff is in real life:P

I think laptops are comming in place of desktop computers.. but i will always love a desktop machine..
Ive seen another real demo of microsofts "power" This january i went to Microsoft's Epping Headquartes in Australia. When we were there we played the new 360's before they came out, Ate Pizza and watched a movie, as well as talk to microsoft personel.
But Here are the problems we encountered -> They didnt order enough pizza -> The Movie they were playing (on a Tablet PC hooked up to a projector) was physically lagging -> They said an Xbox 360 could take any USB mass media device... yet it didnt work on someones camera
I think its inevitable that companies stuff up demos... ive seen many do it:P
Its like it always will be, out first to the most popular console. There is no chance it will be exclusively for one console. Rockstar are not that stupid.
Less Consoles = Less money
And GTA is always horrible on aby console. It really kicks into gear when it hits the almighty PC:)

So they make soo many new HDTV monitors and TV's obsolete because they want them to be more secure, and then they release it to computer? Cmon you have to see how stupid these Anti piracy people are...
My friend and i constantly tell other friends that 7 and 6 channel surround sound has no real difference. theyre simply duplications of certian channels, there is no DVD or music i have ever seen with full 6.1 or 7.1 surround sound.
On the other hand, 5.2 is very nice:P can never have enough bass!

That is one thing that pisses me off. people dont realise that lego is a brand, not an objectt. it is refered to as "Pieces of lego" not Legos:P
As for lego technology though i cant wait for the new Lego inteligent brick to come out. The NXT looks like a sexy piece of robotics and a big improvement to the RCX:)
