My thoughts exactly. Where else do they think the Earth came from ? I would hazard a guess the Earth's water was amassed through collisions, the same way the Earth's metal was collected. We don't even really know how the MOON was created... If the Moon was created by displaced matter from a huge planetary collision, then chances are the planet that hit us could have been rich in metal or water.

BluRay is ALREADY OBSOLETE. Yes it's a bitch to rip. But who cares. Media is all online and streaming now. Broadcasts are in HD 1080p. There are SOO MANY OTHER WAYS to get the same content. ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU REALIZE THAT YOU CAN HAVE A 4GB HD MOVIE THAT LOOKS THE SAME AS A 30GB BLURAY. All this 1080p content is becoming available as torrents, just download as normal (hint searching for mkv files may help).
Upgrade people ! XP is a great OS. Windows 7 64 bit supporting over 4gb of ram running on a brand new Solid State Disk (5x faster). It feels like the future is meant to feel !!!!!

We have all seen how 'accurate' Natal is ie. NO VERY. This thing is a gimmick and is useless as a game controller. Gaming needs split second responses not a 1 second lag. There is always going to be a delay and average accuracy with this technology. By all means use it to transform someone into mickey mouse, but adding it to a games console seems backwards and more of an advertising STUNT.
OLPC what a WASTE of Precious resources AND money. In a time when both are short on supply. How about re-purposing the billions of tonnes of computers we throw away every year ? Any computer built in the past 10 years would be more than sufficient for a school kid to browse the web and read text books. This sort of move should have happened in California decades ago. Why Apple or Microsoft haven't already stepped up and got involved is SHAMEFULL, and an example of how corporate America is the least patriotic force in America.
