  1. I could probably make such a system on Volunteer Management Software? · · Score: 1

But then, it would cost ya ;-)

(No, seriously, I don't think I can afford to do that for karma. (That's why I post to Slashdot already.))

He doesn't need to be useful, he's got $25 million bucks!

Won't this just encourage people to become terrorists in the hopes of being in a position to betray the FBI's Most Wanted for Big Bucks?

But then again, this might lead to terrorists getting really paranoid and distrusting eachother, which might reduce their effectiveness significantly.

There doesn't seem to be anyone else out there - otherwise a) they would be here already b) we would notice their handiwork everywhere.

What makes you say they would already be here? Maybe they're just as stuck on their planet as we are?

Don't take it too serious. My comment was more of a reaction to the recent "you're really a guy!" posts you got that I noticed.

Personally, I think you're a collective of 1000 monkeys with keyboards who decided they don't like Shakespeare after all ;-)

It'll probably be able to be gzipped with a ~10:1 ratio, so as long as the total source code is not more than about 7.0 gigs, it should fit just fine, gzipped, on a CD.

And it wouldn't surprise me if, if it will indeed be available, it'd "leak out" somehow.

My advice to Open Source developers, and especially the Samba team: don't touch it with a .TEN foot pole ;-)
