I didn't read the link but I was using a program called Remote something around 3 or 4 years ago that you could use to train the PDA to send certain IR signals. It came with a nice UI for a tv/vcr/dvd/amplifier/etc. remote. Worked quite nicely. Free, too.
DI has been very committed to their Neuros Audio player. I have one and I love it. DI is still creating firmware updates AND continuing development on their new Neuros units.
Verizon Wireless has been giving out $25 to $30 credits for people with ATT WS portability problems (when they switched to VZW). Sure beats putting up with ATT's incompetence and their insulting $5 credit.
I have their E53 checking account, and I accidentally had PayPal use my checking card and it put my checking account under. 5/3 conveniently transferred the negative balance to my credit card to balance out my checking account back to 0. I was pretty happy until I noticed the $7 or $8 charge at the end of the month. Better than $25 though.
I think it depends on the demographic. Some people just really want a cheap cell plan. Though, they might change their mind when they don't get service a mile down the street. Some providers are a bit upscale, Verizon Wireless and Nextel come to mind. They focus on features/service etc. rather than price.
Just sell it on Ebay. That's what other people do when they go from a GSM provider to a CDMA one or vice versa. Also, certain phones can be switched over, depending on the carrier. Some Alltel phones can be used with Verizon Wireless.
With contract signup bonuses, phones are dirt cheap. I think people will be open to the idea of getting a near-free phone when they switch providers. They are rolling out GSM/CDMA phones, but I don't think they're near the U.S. They're a bit pricey too. Why do you want to roam on all providers? Verizon Wireless and its roaming partners cover all of the GSM providers together plus more.
When you buy the seeds, they come with a EULA that states you cannot use them for brewing beer. If you violate that, they'll send the RIAA out to sue your daughter.
What if there was a place that could recoup costs by selling CDs (whether they be audio, or filled with MP3s) as sample music? Sort of like Cheapbytes.

I wish one of them would mirror it then. I'm trying to mirror it now, but no luck.
Nobody verifys keys for webpages, email or ssh right now. How many times have you seen "HOST KEY HAS CHANGED" or "host key not found" and typed "yes" anyway?
Nobody? Maybe the people who don't care. I use SSH for a reason. I never thought that someone would try to do anything malicious until a week ago. A week ago, someone in my dorm tookover my i.p. and had a sshd running. I was connecting to it from another computer in the same building, and I got PuTTy's friendly warning about the host key changing. What did I do? I clicked abort, exited the program, went back to my room, and investigated the incident. Anyway, my point is that I hope most people don't blindly click OK.
The editors were too busy having a social life perhaps? ;)
have fun with your Ogg files and your 5 pound portable music player....I mean laptop.
Whatever. My Neuros weighs less than 9 ounces. It definitely plays Oggs, just like the Rio Karma.
AAC everywhere? How many CD players in cars play AAC? I don't think people will be re-ripping their thousands of mp3s/oggs/whatever into AAC.

This is indeed a big difference. Most people do look at the location bar rather than the status bar.
I think the thing that annoys me the most is when certain classes require or exclusively teach certain Microsoft products. (Like Office)
I thought with Apple you could get the album for around $10?
So, who hired Gartner this time to say that?
do your neighbors know about it? ;)
The subject line was Y2.003K.
I don't usually carry $250 in cash with me ;)

Someone else has mentioned this before. The founder, Joe Born, responded.
This may also explain some more on the rumors.
A week of paying for 2 wireless plans when you should only need one..

If you just want the images, I have them mirrored here
Here's a direct mirror to the video

Sounds like the Chinglish Files

Ah, so that's why our dorm's network was so slow last night. jk ;)
Well, the torrent worked ok, but it's incredibly slow tonight.
Here's a temporary mirror. Play nicely.
