    Well officer as soon as I came across my wife with my 5 Iron implanted in her head I tried to call 911 but you see I had my phone switched off and I had to wait for all the commercials to run through before I could actually make the call. If only my phone was on the para-medics could have been here at least 2 minutes earlier and she might be alive today.

    Yes but that just creates a corrosion problem waiting to happen and in space to boot. Not to mention a major safety hazard, a pressurized steam one not nuclear (insert evil music here). Besides electric heat would be much cheaper over the life of the vessel.

    You know for an ultra modern state of the art lab they sure have some crapy underground infrastructure and why do these places always still use steam heating?? Which brings up another question. Why do space craft in movies use steam heat?

    Actually by law lobbyists in Canada are not allowed to give any money to a politician. Neither are corporations, unions or any other organization only private citizens and they can only donate about 1300 dollars per year.

    Actually in the southern United States the border police routinely put up check points tens of miles back from the border where you have to identify yourself.

    Actually those would not be a big problem. Since the 'engine' only has to go up once it can be equipped with the shielding required. The additional cost is then amortized over all the transits through the belt.

    The simplest way to remove the problem of risk is to pay each person X million dollars upon arival back to Earth so long as they give up the right to sue for anythimg that can be traced back to the trip.

    Bottle of liquid that may be explosive, put in bin with all the other 'explosive liquids' at the security station where all the people are.

    The problem is that there is only one accessability standard. So if you have a site that deals just in streaming audio books in order for it to pass the accessability tests, so the blind know they can navigate around it with ease, you also have to have the text version of all the audio books availible so that the deaf can use the site as well. Even though it is an 'Audio Book' site.
