    Have you never watched a call-in talk show on cable tv. Have you never watched the shopping channels on cable tv. Those all seem 'interactive' to me. The concept is the same. A universe of specialty cable channels all brodcasting 24/7 and cheap enough for anyone to own. Remember your intended audience, it must be described in terms they will understand. Subtle differences can come later.

    All channels / pages are accessable. Both provide content. Both allow viewers to have their views expressed intermixed with the content.

    Imagine a television with 1 billion channels. Each one belonging to a different network owned by a different person or groups of people. Each program shown on that network could be thought of as an individual web page. Now in addition imajin that you can phone that station and get your views read during the programming, that is what a forum allows.

    Now, in the case of the defendants their television network programming and reader views consisted of hate literature.

    A computer is just a tool like a chain saw or a sewing machine. If I need the tool I will get it and use it. If I don't need it, and for day to day living it is really not required, I will not get it. Unless I am a normal guy then I will buy one a put it on the shelf next to the combo-wrench-screwdriver-hammer I bought last week.

    I have said all along that green house gases will not be a problem until industry can make money out of some process to remove them from the air. After all, there is no 'real' money to be made in reducing output and thereby preventing the problem but there are piles of money to be made fixing it.

    "most vehicles weigh less than 2 tons", which implies that some will weight considerably more. That is why the term "upwards of" was used.....

    Hum. I thought that you were not supposed to use a cell phone while driving because it distracts you from the more important task at hand which is guiding upwards of several tons of steel safely down the road without killing any one.

    Please note that the bible as we know it today is publication that was created as a result of various 'government projects' initiated by various governments down through the ages starting in 553 ad, with the councel of Nicea in Constantinople.

    CN has expanded alot by aqusition in the last few years. The increased rate is due to new milage picked up as a result that was not in the same state of repair as the original track before they started trying to become the largest frieght carrier in North America.

    Proper analysis of the problem to be solved and then the creation of a functional specification, with lots of diagrams of process and data flow, that is then vetted by your peers.

    Done in RIPCAM, Real time spreadsheet in 1984. Each cell had multiple pointers allowing its inclusion into 4 different list sets to speed processing.

    One of the biggest problem in child rearing today is treating toddlers and young children like adults. You don't talk to them about it. You just tell them not to do it and then you supervise them. Remember if you cannot reach out and grab your toddler they are too far away.
