I highly doubt that. Legal precedent has shown that regardless of the round you use, you are likely not held to be liable just because of the round used. S&W (or Winchester or somebody) made a highly mushrooming round called Black Talon that ended up getting them sued because of its exagerated claims by the media. The second time they were sued though the pussies that sued them were thrown on their asses by the judge because the judge ruled that the makers of the round were not falsley advertising the bullet and it was working as intended, to KILL PEOPLE.
Bullets are made to kill things, suing someone saying that they used a bullet on you that was designed to kill you is like suing the sun because it shines.
DUPLICATION is a lot easier with digital forms of media. I mean, holy crap/., this is probably one of the fastest dupes in the same field of interest I've ever seen.
I hope you realize that florescent lights actually emit small amounts of UV light, unlike incadecent light. So if you want Vitamin D it's time to buy CFLs.
If you don't know if something is illegal you won't know if it's illegal if you don't ask a law enforcement agency if it is or not. It's fucking common sense.
"Gee whizz! Is this here pile of cocaine illegal? I don't know so I'll just let it slide."
They never used that excuse to explain inconsistances with previous Trek shows. If anything, contradictory events were explained as being retcons or simply that Star Trek lore is too huge to keep complete track of.
Well, Trek has been in sore need of actual drama to support the action which goes on. Lately Trek either has really good drama which falls on its face because nothing happens, or a bunch of time travelling and blowing up with no explination behind it.
The thing I don't like about Wal-mart is how they constantly try to save money on things by pressuring supplier to give them cheaper products. It runs American and European companies out of business and makes more of wal-mart's products come from communist china.
I highly doubt he'd like moving to Linux then.
And why is he shocked that *GASP!* a new MS OS come out and there's still not as much stuff for it as the previous OS which has been out for over 6 years now!? People keep forgetting the leap between 3.1 and 95.
It's free as in beer in that you don't have to pay additional fees in order to watch it. You have to pay your cable provider to watch cable TV channels and they don't give out free programming to you.
Personally I wouldn't care how much DRM is on something if it's free as in beer. I'm not sure why it would have DRM though if it's free though. Probably because the people who make the shows wanted it to be distributed through the iPlayer and not any other system.
ads in games as long as they make sense given the game's setting. If I'm playing a futuristic shooter I don't want a McDonalds ad, unless it's some kind of futuristic funny mcd's like store or maybe a destroyed billboard in a post apocolyptic setting.
If you could save a million lives by harming only one person, would you do that?

1mm shot wouldn't penetrate cheesepaper, much less a human being. Please refer to rocksalt.

This is the shortest story on Slashdot ever. At least I see they actually got rid of their submission standards now.

Actually, Kirk's brother Sam was killed in an episode of the original Star Trek.
Actually, Enterprise takes place in the same timeline as the other Treks.

You should try telling this to the current regime over there in Iran.
Like Swistzerland making money off of World War II by laundering money stolen from Jewish people.

Almost all computers come with Windows, so no, it's not an additional fee. Besides, you can pirate Windows anyway to view the content.

It wasn't booed in the theater I was in. Most thought it was funny.

Maybe Microsoft wants people to be able to enter in their CD-keys and not have Windows reject them. That sounds like a nifty feature.
Richard, is that you?
Actually it's a crime to not take a drunk driving test in most states if asked, which would hurt your record just as bad since it implies guilt.
What that nessecary to post a HUGE piece of text to completely fuck up and stretch out /. ?
MGS4 is still only coming out for the PS3. There's be no announcement yet about any other platforms.
