  1. Apple Is Starting a Disturbing Trend on 'True' Video iPod Coming Soon · · Score: 2, Interesting

First and foremost I am a huge Apple fan but there is a trend starting to develop that is one of the reasons the stock is dropping like a rock. They are bringing out item after item and quickly replacing it with something better. Why don't they just wait a few months and make it perfect. The video ipod was not released that long ago. For the first time I am starting to hear of people saying they are going to wait to see if something better is coming out because they heard a rumor of a better one coming out soon. This video rumor is a perfect example. I was thinking of buying a video ipod but I will certainly wait. Apple's Intel computers have had rumors of problems but hasn't even come out. Many people are waiting to let others test drive it. I love new products but lets keep some space between improvement releases. I am tired of buying something only to learn at the end of the week there is a better one coming out Monday.

  2. I'll Stick to Old Faithful on The Type-A, High-Tech Bathroom · · Score: 1

My bathroom has everything a person could ever need for complete fullfillment in the bathroom experience. I sink, whirlpool, toilet, toilet paper, handsoap, towel, a few misc hygene supplies, a door which left open will allow you to see the tv in the bedroom, and one latest copy of THE READERS DIGEST. What more could you need (by the way my type in word below is condom, how ironic)

I have been trying to get his autograph for 15 years. Now I think he's risen to a level that it will be impossible. There is going to be a big hole in my autographs of people that wear turtlenecks every day.

  4. I would rather Pixar Buy Back their rights on Disney Buys Pixar · · Score: 1
I know it's not going to happen this way but I wish Pixar would have used some of their free cash and

purchased back their rights from Disney and completely went on their way. Lassiter and Jobs can build an empire together. Lassiter will now make Disney all the money instead of Pixar. They are going to hate all the red tape and politics at Disney

  5. What a match made in heaven on Google PC to Hit Walmart? · · Score: 1

Could there be any bigger difference in the intelligence level of the people hired at these two companies? If you want to get to the people that don't have a computer or internet then Wal-Mart is the place to start. I just hope they don't buy a Google box hoping to get a box of Candy.

  6. Microsoft slowly losing status on 360 Disc Scratching Serious Problem · · Score: 1

It's perceived as a little thing but these articles prove two things. One, people really want Microsoft to fail. Two, designers and engineers are not keeping up with other tech companies. Losing market share in everything. Yes, it's still huge but every day more and more people WANT to find something else. When a replacement does come around they jump at it. Browsers, operating systems, software. Scratches on disks? not that big of a deal but it just give people more reason to wait for PS3. No buzz on have to have it at all. I've been an Apple an Apple guy since 78' so I'm a bit biased but I am an investor as well and hate to see it happening. Will the ever have the great new product? Time will tell

  7. Blogs are great for everything but Press Releases on The Fortune 500's Blogging · · Score: 2, Interesting

I go to the few blogs "sponsored " by corporations to get info for my trading site but none of them offer one bit of information that can't be found in the millions of press releases that come out every day. The only useful blogs are the "rogue" blogs of the employees of the companies. It takes a while to find them but when found they are a great insight into the company. Blogs tend to be off the cuff and interesting. Corporate blogs are forced to be boring and regulated. I use blogs mostly for entertainment but occassionally search out information that can only be found in blogs. It is just another form of communication but it is a form of communication that does not work well with corporate structure. No more no less

  10. No different than the weather lady "Snow tonight?" on GM Crops Create Herbicide-resistant "Superweed" · · Score: 2, Informative

Just another thing to grab attention or attract readers. As has been pointed in other comments most weeds can't cross pollinate and certainly corn, beans, and wheat, aren't going to cross with purslane. Any time you spray the same chemical over and over there is a chance one of those plants is going to survive and that is the plant that will distribute the genes. Is it a super plant? Only if we can take what makes it stronger and translate that into plants we need. "Weed" is a loosely used term as weeds in certain parts of the world are collected in others. Don't the Japanese love the Dandelion?

A HD DVR so I can get rid of the stupid Tivo 8. A new Newton so I can get rid of my Blackberry 9. A time maching to go back and buy some apple stock 10. And last but not least can he design the Imeat that the kid just got into something that might sell 1 million units. From the humor of http://wallstreetfighter.com/

  12. They make money on the need to compete on Microsoft's Big Bet on Online Gaming · · Score: 2, Insightful

In the old days we would compete in sports, in activities outside involving endurance and training. Microsoft realizes just because people don't get out as much, they still have the desire to compete. They are providing an arena to bring people together to challenge each other and see who is better. Yes it is a social situation, but do you really ever know somebody named PIMPN8EZ? The more exciting you make it, the more games they sell. We are all addicted to anything that makes the heart go faster. How the games are distributed is not as important as that they continue to come out with as many titles as possible that are well made and exciting.

  13. Had to meet Apple halfway on 'Intel Inside' No More · · Score: 2, Insightful

They needed a change anyway and there was no way Apple was going to put "Intel Inside" on their new computers. They will come up with a Special place to put these new stickers so it doesn't take away from the look of Apple's new computers. This team of Apple and Intel is going to be huge. Apple is going to save millions (and get Millions) with Intel. Apple stock has always been a buy but now Intel is a big buy with all the computers Apple is about to sell.
