Is anyone else worried about the stability of recently released kernels for production environments? Luckily I didn't upgrade from 2.4.14. Just how much testing (or lack thereof) goes into new kernel releases?

But there isn't any fuel...
So what are the clans to do? Sure Doom 3 (single player, as noted in.plan) will include rich environment, and I know it will be an awesome game (because Carmack is working on it). But where does that leave multiplayer clans? Will we be chatting on our message boards about how to beat the level boss? I think thats a bunch of crap. Come on, ID has really paved the way for multiplayer clans, and they have created a Quaking society, but a single player game will leave us in the dust.
The new policy should only affect new domain registrations. This is because you agreed to an old policy when you first registered. Therefore old registrations are still under the old policy. How do other registrars verify that you are the true owner of the domain when you call in and tell them to "switch over your domain"?
I'm sure the band would much rather recieve $15 directly from the fan than $.80 from the record company. This is about what musicians make on each CD due to royalties, cd production, and record company fees. So why again is it they are trying to ban 300,000 odd napster users?
I've been toying around with the idea of a language. Its called earthian. It will be based around English, and many new words will be added to the language to fill in meanings that aren't in English, but in other languages. Just think about how much time, energy, and resources are wasted trying to get a correct translation when surfing the net, or trying to communicate with a foreigner. We are all from the same planet, we are the same species, now why don't we speak the same language? It would only make sense to speak the same language, maybe somebody more knowlegeble about worldwide languages could fill us in.
Well since the cache on the athlon is not as fast and not on-die they should make the athlon the low-end cpu and make the Duron the high end since it is faster... Its not that hard of a concept AMD!

I have two ideas for making the irc bots feasible: 1. Have the bot monitor lots and lots of irc channels for common questions, and collect common answers for those questions. 2. Link the bot up to a website. Let people enter questions. Let others moderate up those questions as questions that need answers. Let people answer questions. Moderate up answers, and have the bot randomly choose highly moderated answers. Or, you could do a combo of the two: ie, let loose a flood of bots all over irc networks to collect data and enter it into #2 (the website) to be moderated. What do you think? Well Mr. Katz, you talk like all the Hype is a bad thing. Lots of hype, and it turned out to be a good movie. So whats the big deal? People were expecting it to be good, and it kicked a lot of butt. I really haven't grasped why hype is bad yet(don't really know if I ever will), but why were the producers blaming things on people? Why would you blame anything when you make slightly less than $140?
