I'm pretty sure nobody is at Guantanamo who wasn't captured actively engaged in armed conflict with the US. Nobody is being whisked off there by the DHS, or any domestic US law enforcement agency.
I suppose if you're into Alex Jones level conspiracy theories, you could prove me wrong.
I have an Android Galaxy J3 on Virgin Mobile. My monthly charge recently was reduced to $35 for unlimited voice and about 4G of data. It's a reasonable plan that I hope to continue.
If Virgin is going to stop supporting my hardware, I hope that they will unlock it so I can use it on another carrier.
It would even out. If you can't afford to live where you are, you move. If you are forced to move and own property there you can no longer afford, you get a windfall on the sale of your home when you move.
The only thing third party developers are allowed to do is reskin Safari, so it shouldn't be a surprise if the entities who make good, even better, browsers on other platforms just drop out.
My main browser in the desktop is Seamonkey. I use it on Windows, I use it on NetBSD, I would probably use it if I ran a linux desktop. I usually only run Chrome if I really need to access something on a url where noscript just won't allow it to load. Chrome is the throwaway browser I am not afraid to wipe and reinstall if I need to go somewhere that might be toxic.
I installed Interix on Windows 2000 back in... 2000. It was a whole POSIX subsystem including the gnu toolchain. It was originally made by Softway Systems but Microsoft bought them. So it was a product I paid money to Microsoft for. A product that included a complete gnu toolchain.
I once achived a command line on a Macintosh SE. I installed Gnu Emacs on it. The shell within Emacs gave me a command line with primative things like ls and cd.
Probably there will not be a Windows 10 s installer usable in Virtual Box. 10 s is going to be like a Chromebook, pretty much embedded into the hardware.
Act like an adult and stop injecting your political ideology into your comments.
Go away, political troll.

An IBM 650 would be a more interesting choice.

The government could even set up dispensaries and a fleet of trucks to shovel the necessary lime into the ditches.
Do the lime shovelers get an extra stipend for doing actual work?
Probably we could get some Greek economists to work on the issue.
Keeping pay up to inflation.... drives inflation even faster. That's just how economics works.

Ummm. Boo hoo.
Who chooses to pay said CEO's million dollar salary? Certainly not the invisible hand of the market. No, his cronies make that choice.
It doesn't matter if it's good or bad for Apple's customers. They will fall into position.

A lot of installers, even the driver installer for my graphics card, beseeches me to install Chrome.
You're right . Back in the old days of Slashdot... we like to call it the dot.org era.....
So this bill empowers me to attack Microsofts and Googles servers to destroy my data that they have taken?

It's the equivalent of a Chromebook but with Microsoft instead of Google.

... Chromebook market.
Then if history is any indicator, they shut down.

It has a rather expensive hardware dongle.
Stingray wiretaps and stores all traffic in a locality. So its more like the agent wiretapping every phone in a ten block area.
When will they release an updated 4k Shareware Edition?
When you walk into civilization from your warren in the desert, do you ever think that you might be missing out on part of life?
