I've been copying "Screen13" around to my various systems since working on SGIs in the 90s. I even have my editor set up to use the white on dark blue/purple background found in SGI terminals. Very nice readable font and text you can stare at all day.
This guy is finger-fucking a really fat chick, and loses his ring. While he's digging around for the ring, his watch comes off and he loses that. Eventually he has to crawl inside to look for his watch. While he's crawling around he comes across another guy sitting in there. He says to the guy: "hey, can you help me find my watch, and then help me get out of here?". The other guy then says "heck yeah, and if you help me find my truck, we'll drive out of here together."
My PS3 can stream Netflix and stream video from my PC, at 1080p with 7.1 audio. And it can play BluRay and upscale regular DVDs. Oh and there are some games. Doesn't cost much more than these others and has a very nice user experience.
Why not just get one of them? Hopefully not because it doesn't run Linux.
Maybe you should learn the language first. It seems there are an awful lot of people who love to comment on the complexity and performance of C++, who never bothered to really learn the language. Yet this doesn't stop them from pretending the be experts on it.
Aha. Australia is in the SOUTHERN hemisphere. Everyone knows water goes down the toilet backwards there. I'm going to assume that you need to press the break to speed up and use the cruise control to slow down. Maybe he just forgot about that.
When I "watch" movies, I just close my eyes and imagine them in my head. No expensive disks and the "screen" is *huge*!
Remember that part in Star Wars where Han made out with Ohura while Spock watched? Then Marty saved them all by going back in time and rescuing some giraffes from the 80s? That was so cool.
(this same sort of thing was tried with Ann Coulter, because she does the same shit. Unfortunately it didn't go anywhere because people actually believed she was a transsexual.)
But why don't the Linux distros go to same lenghts? It shouldn't be impossible, unless of course, commercial projects are maintained more professionally.
I assume that since we have the source, we can just "fix it ourselves"? That's the whole point, isn't it?
It can. Every iPhone app is already sandboxed.

Yes, but - finally, "someone" I can literally shit on without her complaining! That's worth a lot more than $6K.
No it can't, because Netflix streams cap out at 720p with stereo audio.
I didn't say Netflix could - I say the *PS3* could. It can stream high-def video with surround from my PC. Your Roku can't do that.
My point was the PS3 is a much better audio/video streaming device than these Netflix-only devices.

Bada-boom.

Come back next year when the decade really ends and lets see where he is then. This is a bit premature.
I assume once they add the Acetone and Turpentine, we'll end up with a DIP package?
which generally costs at least $16 US dollars
I paid $15 for my ticket in Madison, WI. Though I skipped the popcorn. Eating during movies in the theater is obnoxious.

Is it the battery life of these things, or is the hardware form factor really nice?
Yes.
And weight. Imagine holding your netbook in your hand like a book for 2 hours.
That's just what I do to pass the time between working, playing with my kids, traveling, drinking, flying airplanes, hosting dinner parties, etc.
Posting occasionally on /. doesn't HAVE to be an indicator of no life. It just usually does.
Heh - no. I prefer having a "real" life.
What does homosexuality have to do with it?

Don't you mean in your parent's house? Get a job, hippy!
I had to sell my black turtleneck sweater to pay for my Mac. Oh the irony!
Probably someone who needs to run Mac programs. Just a guess.

I accidentally picked the wrong moderator item, so I'm responding here to back out.
I would have picked Insightful.
I guess in the Patriot situation, the decision went in the opposite direction. Hence errors we introduced.
Ah, so you're the one responsible!
There is no Dana, only XUL.
Pecot says 'it could spread all the way to Michigan'
Face it, Michigan is doomed. Good thing I live in Wisconsin.
