Were you hoping to have a cute little penguin show up somewhere in each of the pictures?

The amazing thing about Boll is that he doesn't realize that his movies would still suck even if they weren't based on videogames. It's not the subject matter that kills them, it's his directing abilities.
Cool. Thanks for your answer. I'm sure the new machines have no problems running Starcraft and Diablo2. Hopefully I'll have one soon to find out for myself.
Actually, since you seem to have some experience with this, how well does Warcraft 3 play on the Intel Macs? You said you haven't had any speed problems. Is that with all the graphics settings turned up, too?
I believe Taco was referring to comparing it to a comparably equipped Windows laptop. In which case, the prices are fairly similar. I suspect performance will be pretty similar, too.
I imagine you'll be waiting quite a while. Then again, who knows. Maybe you won't...
And to be a pedantic prick, Apple is the company, not Mac OS X. The company is the one that would open the hardware and unbundle Safari (which isn't tied into the OS in nearly the same way as IE/Win).
Ahhh. WoW - the single most important universal binary released so far. I hope Blizzard listens to their customers and releases universal binaries of thier existing OS X compatible games (WC3, SC, Diablo2). With regards to the story, cool that Apple bumped everyone up a notch on the speed pole for free.
I disagree. While the rocks do have the appearance of a striated laminate, there are enough layer thickness inconsistences visible over very short distances that this may not be the case. You can get similar visible features from magma and volcanic flows. Also, some very serious uplift and tilting has occurred (the layers are visible along a horizontal surface) At this point, it's difficult to even pinpoint it down to which of the three major rock types it is (igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic) without chemical and microscopic analysis. You certainly can't tell from a series of black and white pictures. Which is exactly why there's debate about this among even the experts.
When I used SymNRT and those batch files they have on their site, they did something to my Windows msi installer. For about two weeks after removing everything Norton from my machine, the Windows installer would randomly pop up and run for a few seconds, usually during application launches (apps totally unrelated to Norton). It generally wasn't a problem, since it would pop-up, the thermometer would chug for a second, then it would be done and close. The biggest problem was that Quicken couldn't make backups of my account files because it couldn't find whatever file the msi installer needed. A reinstall of Quicken took care of that. Moral of the story--a full uninstall of Norton may lead to you needing to reinstall other things.
No kidding. It looks like the printer friendly version goes to the first question of page 7 of the regular version. If you change the 'page=1' part of the URL to 2 or some other number, you get that page of the article, but in the non-adridden semi-printer friendly style. I can't find a way to get pages 7-9 to show up in a single printer friendly page, though.

I guess it should also be mentioned that they have multiple webcasts, some covering their musical programming from previous hours/days, and some covering their NPR and talk programming.
KCRW is one of the larger NPR affiliates, so they are in a completely different league than a small commercial station. One of the joys of being a non-profit publically funded entity...
How many of those 20 pieces are those horribly nasty tracking cookies? I'm not a fan of them, but I'm also well aware that they're not nearly as malicious as many users think they are...
I was hoping it'd be either a remake or sequel to the old school Vanguard (the side-scrolling shooter where you could shoot in 4 directions).

But what will they do when they've used up all the ocean's energy and the water doesn't move anymore?!?
I'd love to see someone try to cram the Baroque Cycle into 2 hours... : p
Sears has the tool you need right here.

But can it tell the difference between a movie theater and my pocket?

Well, with the way Symantec's products work, I'd say this is something that they've been working on for a long time now...

Second I would like to know exactly what Halo brought to the gaming market that "redefined first-person combat and multiplayer action..."
Didn't you hear, man? It caused the genre to evolve! Says it right there in the title. Sheesh...
*ears perk up* What was that about Microsoft patent lawyers?!?
Very nice (and most likely totally correct) response. : p
And why can't he be marked all three?
