Funny, I always thought it was EOA. Could never figure out where the O came from though...Now I guess I'll spend my time trying to figure out why it was a C instead... : /
I do, too. However, thanks to TiVo, I recently won a Logitech Harmony 880 remote because I went down to look at one of their ads on the starter screen...
I just put that string into the "User Agent" field, called it "Googlebot" in the "Description" field, and left all the others blank. You can click edit on the ones that are already there to see how they broke those down if you feel like it. But it seems to work fine with just the UA field filled in...
That's why you shouldn't have it set to Googlebot all the time. Just switch it over to it if you encounter difficulties entering a site to see if it works.
A lot of registration-only news sites will let you in as googlebot. After all, they want to be indexed...Oh, and don't put in the [google.com] slashdot autolink bit.
Cop walks in with two chicks, looks at the line. Walks right past everyone and finds a recently vacant table. Asks them to clean it and sits right down.

No, Michael Jackson and Sony do in fact own the publishing rights to most of the Beatles catalog (aka, music and lyrics). This includes sheet music, printing of lyrics, and royalties for covers performed.
Oh, I fully agree. I personally consider the OED to be more authoritative. But in the US, many defer to Webster's. I find it humorous that they consider the second usage of the word to be totally acceptable.
Hehehe. I knew I'd get one of these. Yes, anything that is based upon personal opinion is subjective (hell, that's the very definition right there!). Unless you're comparing hard specs, there's going to be a certain amount of subjectivity involved. And, as others have already pointed out, the consumers and experts were very obviously judging these sets on two totally different sets of criteria.
If you own a copy-protected DVD and circumvent that protection to make a copy, then yes, technically you are breaking the law (specifically the DMCA). Of course, this is something that many of us here don't like to admit. The only way to change this is by getting the law or portions of it changed. Let your Congress-person know why you don't like it and why you think it should be changed.
There's the selection of binary watches at ThinkGeek. I personally prefer simple classic analog timepieces, though.
I always liked the 'Butt-Head Astronomer' codename for the 7100.

Consumer Read Access Prohibited?
Y'know, ironically enough, your suggestions fall under the subject heading of "responsible design." : p
What's next? Overlords?
Well, at least they'll be welcomed.
Good to see that another company has found a way to pass off advertising as "public service announcements."

You mean to tell me that people unqualified to make a judgment call about something don't necessarily make the best decision?!?
I would've modded you 'redundant.' I mean, this is Dvorak we're talking about... : p
MS Office 360 Live?
Ahhh. You caught me in my Americentricism again. Thanks for pointing this out.
Glad to see that someone else here actually seems to understand what's going on. I'm sure there are others, but so far they haven't spoken up...
