Not to mention the great journalistic integrity of the mass media managed to simply say "Well no one should care because it is for catching terrorists"
The daily show had a nice montage of the so called journalists not bothering to uncover a real story.

I dont get journalism, their is this prestige of it that people that go into journalism for ala Woodward and Bernstein. But they end up covering "so and so turned 100 today and she has this to say" and "Your house just burned down, your family was murdered, tell us how you feel"

Then this oppurtunity comes along and they do nothing.

When are people gonna start making journalist jokes similar to lawyer jokes. Both professions do have "good people" in it, but many many of them are just hacks and should not be looked up to.

wait, and you didnt have one of those insta restore partitions that would put everything back the way it was, ie when photoshop is upgraded and working, make a new backup. The restore goes and your system is back the way it should be. (data should have been stored on an external drive anyways so nothing would be lost, all settings etc would be retained. I cant even comprehend putting a machine in use without that anymore. What should have taken 20-30 minutes to fix TOPS (waiting for the copy) turned into a big ordeal.

Money would be the major factor, but as long as you are willing to pony up cash upfront, many lawyers will take the case.

You are basically saying all apps will require the time period of a year to write and you are hiring that person to write it full time and just one person. It is much easier to come up with the requirements and hire a firm, give them the specs and tell them to call you when it is done.

I think the most interesting and useful application is a combination of: bluetooth headset while driving, and the new head units in cars. Factor models are starting to come with this feature and aftermarket models have been available.

Basically it mutes, or sets the volume 1/10 of the power whenever a call comes in.
Most aftermarket models have had a wired in version ATT for a while but that obviousely involved wiring a cradle to the deck. Not nearly as useful as just having a phone be able to signal the device wirelessly to cut the power and then be able to answer with the headset.

Handsfree, and incrediblyless distracting because A: you no longer have to keep an eye on the phone while listening to music, B: no longer have to hold the phone.
good combo for being a safer driver and still be reachable.
