    yes, but remember, CSS is for design purposes. neither of those users really care about the design... they are still getinng the full content which is more important.

    I agree mostly, excpet for the CSS sites... EVERY site should work with CSS and not worry about anything below that. Flash is annoying, CSS is a standard and should be embraced, any browser that doesnt do CSS in 2006 should be retired.

    I found in acrobat you can shut it off. It is sooo much nicer now that it doesnt constantly want to install photo album updates (which i dont even use and dont know how it got installed) and other bullshit... check the preferences. why cant someone port Evince to windows.

    Basically the people that talk about the real estate bubble have no clue how real estate works... They have been talking about this "bubble" for like 15 years now...and yet it still hasnt burst yet...maybe because real estate is sustainable.

    Most booklets dont have the lyrics you realize? At least the cds I am used to. And generally the album art, its nice to look at once for 5 seconds, then it gets tossed away.

    Because the source code is perfectly legal. Making the source code, distributing it, all perfectly legal activities. Compiling it is also legal. Using it is legal too....Using it on someone elses computer you dont have permission to, ILLEGAL... see how much you can do before you even come close to breaking the law.

    Very interesting read about Kenya. But I think you misunderstand who exactly these devices are targeted at... These devices are not for the extremely poor, they are for the people that no longer have to worry about the very basic struggle for survival..because those are the individuals that can bring education to a higher level and bring the entire society up. The poorest of the poor are not the targets here, the people above that level are.

    You do realize that the Christian Science Monitor is a highly respected publication right? People complain about the lack of real journalism...well check out them (on a side note i was once doing a research paper and found that site for an article and was immediately skeptical before I found out they are highly reputable. I discovered that on my own when I read the quality of the journalism and dead on accuracy.
