Good points
which brings me to a better question (anyone from media companies who are reading this, you are free to steal my idea!!)
with the price of several GB memory flash based disks now so low (well compared to the overpriced hd-dvds and bluerays)
why dont they release movies on i dunno lets say an SD-Card with some circuitry for ZKP, i dunno maybe call it "HD-Card"! or "Blue-transistor"!
imagine it now small credit card chips that dont get scratched and are smaller than optical media, with added advantage of being rewritable!
have left the solar system and are now somewhere in or past the very outer reaches of the solar system (take them millions of years to get to nearest stars??)
well i have loads of karma to burn
but i use IE7, i like it and it loads faster than firefox and doesnt guzzle up all my laptop RAM, the font look nicer and pages render faster than firefox
and to all you "this is a feature not a bug in ff" crowd, "what a brillian feature" i say!
seems firefox came from small and fast to big and slow, kinda ironic
well i have to give it to you, you took the words out of my mouth
as such i love linux on the servers (i have 2) just for the stability and speed but on the desktop, most of the points u raised are true and ur not the only one who encountered issues mentioned in your
posts
[rant] Here in ireland we constantly being promised internet for everyone and we are always get screwed over, maybe with pressure from Europe, Eircom will pull their head out of their behind (they dont listen to the governement much anyways)
hell im on wireless "broadband" (Irish Broadband) now in Dublin city center and i can barely get above 30K (yes thats almost twice slower than dial up! when were meant to het up to 512K)

i wonder why they didnt use a zero knowledge protocol http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zero-knowledge_proof to defend them disks, bundling the keys with the cds is only delaying the inevitable
IE7 with IE7pro plugin (blocks ads among other things) is sooo much faster than firefox
1sec to startup ie vs 10sec to startup firefox
go figure
im not even gonna go into the memory usage "features" of firefox
they are computer generated (from data gathered from various telescopes)
as for probes, only pioneer 10,11 ( Pioneer program ) and voyager 1 and 2 Voyager program
