  1. Netflix limits users. on Netflix Users Experience Paradox of Abundance · · Score: 5, Insightful
Did you know that users of Netflix who continually use their limit of what they pay for for access get the speed at which they receive movies limited?

Several friends of mine, as well as myself, have noticed that you can get movies rather quickly for the first two months or so, but after that the pace slows down. When the time between you shipping a movie out and getting more back starts at 2-3 days, but then gets extended to a full week, the difference is noteable.

The point is, this "paradox of abundance" only exists for the few people who don't use what they pay for, people who honestly want abundance get screwed over by design.

Bargain bin games are cheap to produce, very cheap, maybe 100,000$ if they use an old graphics engine.

There is nothing 'flattering' about the Sony tilt sensing controller - and complaining that Sony is copying you is like a little kid getting mad that another little kid picked the same colour for their player in some game.
You do know they added this tilt capability about 3 days before E3 right? Most of the developers didn't know it even existed in the controller.

The excitement developers felt about the Rev had little to do with the actual hardware making up the system, but a feeling that Nintendo was setting things up for developers to go crazy with smaller and less mainstream games.

Massive exposure does not always cause the same effects as long-term exposure, is my point here. If you listen to soft music for a day or listen to 1000db of sound in a second, the effect is vastly different (and lethal, but thats not the point here).
