Your AR-15 isn't an assault rifle because it doesn't have selective fire. If it somehow does, then you'd be required to have a federal stamp, so it would be registered with the government.
The Forecastfox (fix version) on Firefox actually brought me back to using the browser because that extension is just so much better than every other weather extension. I'll keep using Firefox, even though it's noticeably slower then Chrome in some areas and tends to lock up for a couple seconds at times, just for the extensions it offers. That's how much those extensions mean to some users. If those disappear I don't see any reason to keep using Firefox, unfortunately.
I remember that and still think about it from time to time. It was a story on the news that said 1GHz was the limit and they didn't know how they were going to progress past that. Obviously they figured it out, but I can still see the TV in my mind's eye.
Limited shared data? Now I start wandering into the cloud and Dropbox seems pretty good to me so far. Never actually leaves my hard drive but is available for others I choose to play with. Am hoping no one ever hacks that account but I knew the risks when I put it there.
Except that at that point it truly is in The Cloud on Dropbox's servers, you just still have a copy on your local drive.
It's gotten to the point where it's almost odd for me to see a desktop now. At my office only a few people still have desktops because they're not up for a replacement yet. Those that are get a laptop. I've got a laptop now that sits docked most of the time, connected to my external mouse/keyboard and dual monitors. Same thing at home - my laptop replaced my desktop, but when it's time to do Real Work it gets connected to my external mouse/keyboard and dual monitors. Aside from serious gaming I don't see anyone buying desktops anymore, and I can't wait until the day when my phone can be docked just like my laptop and run real apps like Photoshop, Lightroom, and even a full browser rather than the mobile touch-friendly version.
That article was actually very popular when it came out because it's entirely built of questions. If he had just slammed Fieri it wouldn't have gotten near as many views as it did, but because of the way it was written it appeared on sites that it never would have otherwise. It's marketing, not an English journal.
I'm tempted to provide a list, but also conflicted, given the first rule of usenet. On an completely unrelated note, reddit sure seems to have subreddits for absolutely everything these days, don't they?
consider this - an electric fence is designed to drop a 2,000 bull.
False. Have you ever actually been around a bull? Almost nothing will drop them. Electric fences are meant to be a deterrent - a 2,000lb bull will walk through one if he wants to.
There is a lot more in the comment and if I could figure it out I'd link directly to it - but if there is a way to do it, I couldn't figure it out. Scrolling through this thread made me think there is room for lots of improvement in g+
Click the date on the top of the post. It's not obvious and there's definitely room for improvement, but now you know.

I can't believe nobody's pointed out that it's actually the Sistine Chapel.

Just remember that the apostrophe ALWAYS represents one or more letters having between removed.
Except for when it doesn't.

Your S3 has TouchWiz on top of Android 4.x - therefore, not stock Android, which is what the gp was referring to.

It didn't say he was a SEAL - it said he *trained* as a SEAL. Which is correct.
Yeah, because if they make a movie, that's Slashdot's fault. Makes complete sense.
