    You could fo to a real low end phone like tracfone. It works out to about $6 a month for a small number of minutes. Of course, you would have to put a brick in your pocket to get the same amount of exercise as lugging around one of the older phones.

    Except that you are defending drunk drivers. The only difference between having a judge on site and the old way of taking you in to the station first is that it makes it harder for the drunks that you are defending to use the lapse of time to drop their BA.

    The phrase originally came about because Native American tribes and European settlers had different ideas regarding trade vs. gifts. Nowadays, around here at least, most people consider the phrase Indian giver to be referring to how the white man and their government would take back anything that they agreed to with the Native American tribes if it was to their advantage to do so. A good example of this would be the Black Hills region of North Dakota.

    While it was over 20 years ago, I was on a jury that had a question for the judge. While I don't remember the question, I remember having to wait for the court to get a hold of the lawyers for both sides before they could answer it. Apparently, both sides need to agree on the judges answer.
