    The point is that if you dont agree with what one local government does or state, you have choices. On the other hand if the federal law was the only law what choice do we have? none if we dont like it too fucking bad. I prefer having choice

    why would you want to put people who disagree on the way of living together instead of allowing them to be free to live as they wish in their own smaller states??

    The same is true in almost every state. The city and metro areas are all heavy populated and heavy blue. The majority of the state that is not city tend to lean red.

    That would be a horrible idea. The federal government is already too big and too involved in the day to day lives of americans. What is good for the people in NY and cali, is not whats best for those in alaska or north dakota.

    exactly, Smaller governments are easier to maintain. I am all for more choice in the country. I would love if the same thing happened in NY, make NYC and long island into their own states and leave upstate NY as its own state. Where I live, the hudson valley we pay more in taxes and get less back than northern NY or the city all while we have to worry about our bridges 50 miles 75 miles north of the city tolls going up for one example, when the money is being used down in NYC not up here.

    I am a firm believer in "think local first" If we could keep more of our own money in our own communities rather than giving it to the feds and state to ship all over the country and world we would all be better off

    These are all political issues not technological issues. Everytime a new president comes into office, one of the first things they do is can the majority of what NASA was working on so they have to start over for the new guys desires. We were on track to be back on the moon in the next 4 or 5 years by the timeline set under president bush if i recall correctly

    Devices that are compatible and are switched on to WiFi will automatically download the latest iOS build and install it without requiring user intervention, a forceful move done by Apple.

    As someone who does not use apple products and havent since the power PC days ( ok I lie, I had an ipod classic for a short period of time) does this mean there is no way to turn off "automatic updates" in an Idevice? I would not be too happy if that were the case, If I am happy with the version I am running, I dont want apple saying too bad and forcing me into another version that will change all my settings / visual cues that I am used to and like

    Not sure if this should be troll or insightful. I mean in all seriousness, people who make bomb threats tend to not be the ones capable of carrying out the crime. If you are going to commit a crime, you just do it, you dont go around bragging about it or making threats.

    That is a great way of looking at it indeed. Those of us in the early days of WWW can remember when sites with logins would put your user name and password in plain text in the browser address bar, I rememeber being 15 or so and when you would log into a website the info was just out in the open, with info like this you could easily find other peoples info. Now its really no different except for the people cant see it as clearly but the unethical hackers, AKA the NSA can gather it all

    not entirely true, I watch the nightly shows from the 3 majors almost every night, not all of each episode but I flip back and forth between CNN MSNBC and foxnews almost every night just to compare notes. The news shows tend to call out obama on all 3 networks, the primetime lineup, the opinion shows, it seems fox will call out obama if it rains too much, CNN will call out obama when things are so blatant they dont have a choice and MSNBC rarely calls out obama on anything, I mean chris mathews gets a boner just thinking about obama.
