several newspapers in the area have done their own
recounts, and bush still turned out the winner, and these included all the ballots, using the same rules the democrats wanted for a revote
i think progeny debian does this by default.
where would you set this in redhat, in your display manager settings?

i think ximian has a better chance with making money in the long run because they have a deal with various Hardware vendors. They will most like make money from selling support to these customers, and for the pay services when they roll them out. ximian is going to provide services through evolution, and probally others too.

you have to wait because it takes a while to make the packages and test them. theres nothing secret going on, the main differece between ximian gnome and stock gnome is a few patchs, icons, and a nice default setup for the packages. it takes a while to get this together and test it. gnome 1.4 has only been out for a couple weeks. a few days after the release happened GUADEC happened, which took a couple of days away from developers. so chill and stop thinking everything is some big corparate consiracy. when it is released it will be good, just wait:)
the biggest reason for the lack of updates to red-carpet is probally because alot of the ximian guys were away at GUADEC for the past few days and are just now getting back to work.
first, the US didnt do anything, it was the pilot of the jet who apparently didnt understand how to fly a jet, or understand that those planes cant fly like his jet,
second, it is a big deal because 24 people are being held because china is trying to get all the tech they can from that plane.
nautilus and gmc only compete for the desktop if you run them both at the same time with desktop mode on;). i really dont understand what you mean about evolution and nautilus dont have a concept of each others existence. as for nautilus having a different look, this is themeable, also, alot of the things nautilus does different from the rest of gnome will be part of the gnome 2 platform. Nautilus was goin to be the core of the gnome 2 platform from the begining, but the release plan for gnome changed, and it was decided one more major release of the 1.x platform would be made be for 2.0. Nautilus will be completely intergrated in gnome 2. xmms uses core technologys, but its interface is made to be compatible with winamps, most mp3 players look different from their platform anyway, so this isnt new. as for mozilla, mozilla isnt part of gnome, nautilus only uses its rendering engine, not the whole browser. its just that most packages for mozilla are for the whole browser and not the core libarys.
I'v had KDE2 and 2.1 on my system, i used konqueror last nite, its not any better than nautilus. konqueror and the rest of kde crash way more often than gnome and its apps on my system. you do have a point about kdevelop being nice, but the new gIDE in cvs that uses bonobo shows alot of potential now that its being hacked on. also gnome has always been faster on every computer i used, i used kde and gnome on a pentium 100 with 32mb of ram, and gnome always ran better.
when i first started useing linux i used kde, then when gnome came out i started using it. i still use gnome, but i check out kdes progress when major releases come out, its a nice desktop, like gnome.
but what i dont get is how all the kde people say its really superior, yet give not reasons, could you give me some?
it sounds to me that it wont have adds, but a interface for the gimp developers to hook into so they could do this, not really ads poping up in the gimp, just a button to go get more addons with redcarpet. mozilla and netscape has a button so you can go download themes, i think thats like what this is.
i maybe wrong, but i heard a while back that different front-ends could be made for it, also, you could run it under kde any even if its not a kde app:)
They have been showing pictures of the ballots on all the news channels, and it is not confusing at all, its just like the ones here where i live. They point to the hole you should select, how could you get confused
I agree with you. All companys have these kind of documents. This kind of stuff isnt new. No matter what the documents say, what he did was wrong, it was stealing.

thats what i figured, i was thinking about doing this a while back, but never looked into it.

you really think the US doesnt have anything better than the SR-71. ever wandered what they really have at area 51

people seem to forget ashcroft can only promote censorship to the public, not envoke it unless it is already part of a law.
clinton is a democrat, not a republican
the lilo/grub issue is up to the dist packagers
no, red-carpet is a different system, but ximian uses the same packages that redhat releases

its most likely ximians implementation of the libarys needed to interact with soap
it worked with 2.4.0 when i had it on 7.0, it gave the warning anyway though
it breaks on fisher because the api to rpm changed between 4.0 on 7.0, and 4.0.2 that comes with fisher

they are almost head to head in features, its just a matter of choice, and which goes best with your desktop
heh, gore is chinas bitch
