So a dev that works on "this technology' says "that technology" he doesn't work on is dying. I'm shocked, shocked I tells ya.
I imagine consoles are "dying" right now simply because the lifespan has been extended due to the costs associated with moving to HD assests and the economy being fudged up. People (speaking about friends both in rl and online) have either become bored and aren't wow'd anymore so they have gone primarily pc or have just found better things to spend time and money on.
It will be interesting to see what happens when people get a look at the new offerings in the flesh and not just a bunch of numbers on paper and rumors.
I know what genre I enjoy playing so I look at upcoming titles/descriptions and..... rent it first. I don't need a douche to tell me his/her thoughts on what was "kewl" or "teh sukness". If it's a worthy game (or movie), it'll remove funds from my wallet on it's own. True this only works for console, but that's all I play. If you troll any game forums there is no shortage on opinions on there for you pc folks. I value the opinions of people who play the game for fun and not to pick it apart for a paycheck.
The levels are huge, yes there is a path to go forward in the story but there are also a lot of other areas to explore. I just finished and I have to go through a couple more times to pick up all the stuff I left behind. BTW, the Iris (the galaxy super computer and search engine) let me know what the final number in Pi is. You'll have to play to find out.:) Also, there's a funny slam on the 360, something about great software but a 44% cpu failure rate.

What's the problem? I work for a HP refurb shop and we sell MPE boxes for hot spares often. I'm sick of people saying propriatary hardware sucks. Bull. This stuff will work for a very long time if treated correctly (We still have stuff from the 70's in stock - working). People will still buy stuff running at 80 mhz because it runs 4ever. If anybody has played with the risc gear they know it's very well made. Seems no matter how hard HP tries to kill MPE it just doesn't die.
