    So you don't play DVDs, MP3s or WMA files on your Ubuntu machine? Because those patents are violated routinely by Ubuntu users.

    AT&T never took my threats seriously but I got calls from presidents and vice presidents AFTER I contacted the PUC. But now I just don't do business with them anymore. Why bother when they are actively hostile toward their customers.

    Vonage provides a nice service much cheaper and is happy to have me.

    I think there is something to be said for the old greek concept of pederastery.

    Yes, it led to the brutality of the Roman Empire, where everyone was abused and therefore everyone became an abuser. Yes, let's go back to that.

    Yes, nobody has ever become an emotional cripple for life or a dangerous criminal because of a sexual experience in their past... No families have ever been destroyed because of "just sex". Nope. Never.

    Because then they couldn't charge $.20 (=.20c on Verizon) for a text message and $1/min on "roaming".

    I do remember reading an article where I was surprised that Google used such low-quality cheap hardware...

    That being said, this isn't really that surprising. Like another poster said, once I started buying quality motherboards (Asus) and quality RAM brands, I really haven't had any problems.

    Microsoft allows OEMs to ship an OS CD if they want. They don't because of their costs.

    Check the license. Virtual Box is not free for commercial use, unless you recompile it yourself.
