These were the "Silk Road" bitcoins, not Dread Pirate Roberts' (Ross Ulbricht's) bitcoins. He said, "they aren't mine". The government gave time for anyone to claim them. Nobody did.
The same science that only accepts "old" ice instead of any ice in global warming calculations. Then, they can make graphs "clearly showing" that all the ice is gone when in fact there is more ice in the arctic circle than in 2 decades.
The ribbon allows you to set multiple items at once. This was never possible pre-ribbon. I love saving all those dialog boxes to get a nice look. So, yeah, there's a learning curve, but at least it's for a good reason.
And a couple years ago, I read that the only profitable division of GM was GMAC and the only profitable division of GMAC was Ditech.com. So not because of cars at all.
My 10-year-old Acura touchscreen was 10 times easier to use than my new Mercedes click-wheel. Also, most features now take multiple clicks where they were 1-2 clicks on the Acura So they are getting much worse.
I drive a partially automated system in my Mercedes and it's way safer than not having anything. My car literally won't hit another car in front of me unless they cut me off badly or screech to a very sudden stop. It's very relaxing when you're in stop and go traffic.
Stanford has all their classes online, as do many universities. You can LEARN all you want. You can get a top-notch education for free. But people need the PAPER that gets them by the HR tollbridge.
There are always new things to do and never enough people to do them. I for one will be surprised if developers have a culling in the next 20 years. There are too many other jobs to eliminate first.
We have a limited run of manufacturing where I work. Recently we had to make several software changes because they silently swapped out components (which is against the contract).
Yep, and even if you use the correct tool for the job people rewrite it anyway. I used XSLT to turn XML into a different XML. It was 20 lines and worked great. I came back later and somebody had replaced it with 2500 lines of C#.
Not true. ALL my CDs and DVDs still work, including almost all the ones I burned. Over the weekend I found a burned disc from 20 years ago that was pretty severely discolored, but I tried it and it read just fine.

You are overlooking many things, but they aren't that obvious to newcomers.

They both agreed as to WHICH claim was in question but they disagreed as to its meaning.

They DO use it themselves. That's why they are constantly shipping them late.
Christians believe that God destroys societies that accept homosexuality. That's why they believe it's their business.

And LIE to Congress?!? They would NEVER do that...
The web only started in 1994, so it's not that surprising that people didn't use it before that.
Yeah, sounds fun. Why don't you try it and let us know how it goes?...
Passing initial tests is easy. But just like American cars, what happens in 3 years?
We have a limited run of manufacturing where I work. Recently we had to make several software changes because they silently swapped out components (which is against the contract).
It improves the Mexican economy?
The 5-year car may only last 3 years, though, where the 50-year car may only last 30. Big difference when you want a car for 5 years.
Ask Mercedes how this worked out when they bought Chrysler...
I've never thought of this but I'll be doing this from now on. Thanks.
The solution is to vote out your incumbent. Period. It's the only way to get Congress to listen to us.
What about a MicroUSB cable? That would have supported 99% of stuff.
