I like the way it's designed to "trick" people into CLICKING RIGHT HERE -> even though the whole block is the link. Yes, I know, we've seen that before many, many times, it just never occured to me that the Internet's first ever banner ad (supposedly) would use gimmick.
And the punchline "YOU WILL!" is a nice touch. How did they know?
1) Personally I would love to read a point-by-point explanation of how every flaw in the Apollo evidence is invalid, coz it doesn't make sense to me.
2) Didn't CBS pay the guy in that movie The Insider $12,000 in the early '90s to consult on translating two scientific documents into laymans terms for a news story on housefires? By that standard $15,000 for a _book_ about the _moon landing_ is chickenfeed.
I think the issue of hosts being shut down by the goverment for ANY reason needs is important and newsworthy, ESPECIALLY on those hosts that may be serving content outside the realm of manistream thought.
Wow who would've thought the Aussie govt would actually come out on the side of the CMITS for once?
Of course the ACCC is generally a hot-air commision. The boss guy likes to hog the limelight by making bold condemnations of various anti-competetive scams but then it generally all fizzles out to nothing once the cameras are turned off:(
Ah but it's still pretty damn impressive software... there are many things I do where the first thing I think is "yeah, real3D'll does that for me". In this day and age I see so many people wasting their lives trying to learn 3D studio... real 3D has all the power, and complexity, but it's much much more flexible and yet somehow easier to use...:)
So... nothing will get approved for posting unless it has a solution?

Sure, like Jizzmo, the little furry guy in Gremlins
Wasn't it a four-part miniseries published in the late '80s or something???
For those who came in late:

Get him off the artificial sweeteners and sourers and see if that makes any difference. Fixed my kids up lickity split.
(not just artificial foods, lots of natural stuff is bad for some people too, eg milk)

For a network boot disk to run Ghost off the server.
:-)
Never bothered with that whole bootable NIC thing, too much like hard work.
Also I occasionally plug one into my home machine when ppl bring stuff over on floppy. I guess they could burn a 500k CD if they wanted to
Damn wish that had been the case in the Win95/NT3 days when I used to take calls for the stuff at a resellers.
:(
It was fucking painful I can tell you
This may even make up for the de-die fliedermausing
It's gotten better since the release. Check out the updates on unreal.epicgames.com if your interested.
...that's Lava Giant!
Score -1 Pedantic
They are. It is. You're on...?
I thought games were supposed to be fun?
That guy's funny, mod him up.
There, that's got to be my moderating contribution for the next 10 years I reckon.
Well given that we now have more info, is the story less invalid?
How about the Bush family's extensive holdings in IG Farben and the other companies that manufactured weapons such as poison gas for the Third Reich?

Exactly! That's the whole point of the cancellation. Sheesh.
It's about time. Now if they could just make it run on clockwork....
I'd have to second that notion. They have their share of fascism and exploitation and everything too, but it's a lot better than Belgium :)
