I got the call this morning around 8am.... telling me that I have d/l almost 500gb last month and it's a lot of pressure on their network. I told them that their contract did not state anything about a download limit. He pretty much cut me off and told me I reached the top %1 and if this does not change they will ban me for a year.
Anyway... this is crazy.
I have read those stories soooooooooooooooo many times, but it just never happened. The CD-R/W, DVD-R/W, LS120, USB Stick,... none of those devices ever replaced the floppy drive even tough every company said "Throw out your floppy disks!"
Besides... most of the BIOS upgrades are floppy drive dependant. Some companies do support floppy-less BIOS upgrades (dell for example) and some other companies flash the BIOS in Windows (HPQ for example). Everyone else has to create a DOS boot disk.

Actually the Alpha supported ended with an Windows 2000 Beta release.
Great idea... I am already black listed and with this special trick I will have even more fun. GREAT!
