I think you missed my point, Sir. There were 2 main points I was bringing up. First, that as soon as there is an attack, people, typically liberals, suggest that someone should have done somethign to prevent it, But whenever someone does something, such as issue a warning or try to apprehend potential aggressors, those issuing the warnings or apprehending agress are call fear mongers or jack booted thugs or whatever term you wish to accept by they same a-holes that complain that nothing was done shoudl there ever be a success attack. Don't believe me...look at everything that has happened from 9/10 until now. Second, I was trying to illustrate in simple terms (obviously not simple enough) that you either accept the actions of an agressor or you fight back with ALL means at your disposal. Once you commit to one or the other, you have to be prepared to continue to do the same until the threat is eliminated. Waffling on your decision will only encourage an agressor to continue and invite others to follow suit. It's not about being macho. It's about making a stand, which libs tend not to be able to do with effect very often. I am surprised that a slashdotter doesn't believe in 1's and 0's, ons and offs, black and white. Everything can be boiled down into binary terms. I also find it interesting that you have taken this so personally...how my opinions effect you is beyond me.

I can remember having played the 'flinch game" when I was a kid. We all remember this don't we? A kid feints a good hard punch to your sholder, if you don't flinch he hits you hard, if you do flinch he does it again even harder....This is the same crap. Unfortunately the populace of the US has been so emmasculated in the past 50 years or so that when some wacko actually pulls off an attack (of any kind) those people, typically, with more liberal views start crying "Someone should have done something to prevent this". But when someone actually tries to warn people or 'stop' such an event they are called FEAR MONGERS. This is one of the reason that terrorism is such an effect weapon. I'm sorry for over simplifying but you can't have it both ways and there is no middle ground. When you get punched in the noce you have 2 choices, punch back and continue punching until the threat is GONE, or do nothing and accept the fact that it will continue to happen regardless of what action you take. One of these will cost more in the terms of life and property that the other. Make your choice, stick by it, and shut the hell up.

By liquid I mean it doesn't have to be solid, seawater freeze at what -1.91C? so if the southern regions of the Artic Ocean are just a couple of degrees warmer, guess what the ice melts and it's not solid, or at least less solid, because boats can sail through slush, even thin ice. Perhaps their frustrations would be elevated in China, I am sure that their opinion on how things are run there would be welcomed. Or, perhaps France, this option will make it all the better when it becomes time to create that glass parking lot for Euro-Disney. Addressing the question as to why they haven't left yet I submit this observation. They lack the courage and conviction to act out their threats. They do not want to leave because they know that they will not be able to voice their opinions elsewhere, or earn the kind of money that they do here. They will not have people who will listen to them because, unlike here, no one wants to hear what they have to say. This would destroy the very fiber of their being. Additionally, those who claim that this country is evil, or the administration is committing some evil plot (Buwahaha) really have no concept as to what being an American is. It is every Americans duty to speak out against what they feel is wrong or corrupt, but, after the democratic process has been completed and the MAJORITY of your fellow countrymen have disagreed with you, it's time shut the hell up. Those who would rather leave are free to do so, however in doing so they should loose their citizenship as it is apparent that they disagree with the fundamental principles of The Constitution.

Unfortunately, the last 100 years or so the interpritation of this Ammendment has be butchered, mostly by liberals (fact not a flame). It was not uncommon, up until the Spanish American War, for private individuals to maintain standing armies, with heavy artillery, even naval vessels. This is no longer allowed by law.
