    I really like DJB approach in many programs but his daemon as services makes his good programs difficult to use.
    I would like to use dnscache as a normal daemon, one below the /etc/init.d , that will be cool.

    OCR for more than 5000 Kanji character could be very tricky. I would buy one when it can read handwriting.

    It had happened to me too. I was trying to master a third language and time to time I had the second language (english) words going out while speaking. Something like "Esto cuesta quinientos veinte TWO pesos".

    But the differences between the native language and the second language could account. There is a big difference to learn Chinese from a Spanish native speaker than to learn Italy or Portuguese.

    As for the lastest events in the SCO cases courts. It is clear to MS that SCO is already screwed up and the original Unix licenses are owned by Novell. MS change their player, they need to put another magnitude for the amount of money they are using against IBM and RedHat. And maybe a softer approach to Linux. Off course Novell knows that go into bed with MS feels betrayed at the end.

    He really make a story from the numbers to memorize the sequence, He was explaining that the last time he break the record.
    He assigns sillabes to each digit from 0-9 and constructs a story about that, then when he recite the numbers he recall the story word by word and deconstruct to digits again.

    Mom/Grandma home users is a very easy to revert segment. I already did for 2 machines and the users only complain is that they can't use ActiveX using sites. Anyway if you explain the security risk that ActiveX using sites exposes and propose alternatives for this sites the users will be happy that their PC will not crash or slowdown with new virus attacks.
