For most jobs 4 years is to long much less 6 or more. Even more so for most IT jobs you can learn a lot more on your or even in a 2 year tech school.
lot's of college is tech the test. In asia it's real bad.

Or better yet why should I learn the tricks of the test over say real skills or a test based on real work.
