The mini is overpriced priced and the laptop hardware in it drives costs up and still has the real old gma 950 in it and all systems should have a super dr.
The imacs are not that much better while they do use a desktop HD, the laptop ram, cpu, slot loading DVD RW, and video push the price up. Also the smaller size of the new imacs mean that high-mid and high end video cards are out as well as more then one hd and you are stuck if it's build in screen.
The Macpro is over 1 and half years old and is still at the same price and same setup base system 7300 gt and only 1gb of ram and $300 to go to 2gb apples prices, OWC has it for $100. But still $100 a gig? Also the raid card for it is rip $1000 for a 4 port sata only raid card?
The mid-range system can replace the high end mini with on board video or a low end video card g33 / g35 chipset and pci-x 16 slot for video with x4 slot for other cards and desktop parts.
maybe have high end system for gameing with dual video cards x38 or NV chipset.
Or you can have a dual dual macpro with the low end xeon cpus and the new chip set with ecc ddr2 2/3 ram.

Comcrap is moving all of the channels to digital in some area and if don't have a box you get the locals only.
first they started to move some there Local channels on basic to digital forcing to pay for a lot of other digital channels that people may not want just to get what they used to get and now this crap.
They want you pay per box or per cable card with little to no support for them.
Just wait for Ipv6 they will likely only give you 1ip and make you pay more too hook up more then 1 system on a per ip fee.
It's not a copy protection feature and you can get to work on other adapters that are just about the same also there is tool out there that will try to reset it.
Vista is better with this and can fall back to generic driver to try to boot up.
And ghost was build to help you with roll out of alot of the same or (slightly different) hardware or for a easy restore and even then you may need to do a reboot or 2 for it to fully pick up the hardware.
When you have bigger changes that you need a new image just for that system.
M$ should be able to force you to sing extra contract like Eula's on top of the ones at time you payed for XP for things like updates at are part of first contract / terms of sale.

replace blank with a type of game Like if you are hitting and holding the shift keys a lot then he may say "I see that you are playing pinball to do you want help?"

Wireless AP can handle as mean users per AP as a switch can and you will still need to run wire to each AP anyways as you may have a hard time getting all systems to work off of one AP. Also RJ45 ports are build in to just all systems now days build in the chipset or running over the pci-e bus that can hit the full gig-e speed. There are a few with build in wireless but most of there are on the slower usb bus that pushes up cpu load. Pci N cards are $50 or more per card.
AMD also has more energy-efficient chipsets with ECC DDR2 ram not the higher power useing FB-DIMMS also you have a lot more choice in chip set's with more pci-e lanes then intel 2p+ systems.
CSI has been pushed back a few times and will not be in all chips when if first comes out also by going to HT they can use the same HTX cards as a AMD system will be able to use.
Give the on board video chips some of there OWN RAM you can use a system like ati hypermemory and nvidia turbocache.
Open up the xeon cpu to chipset links so you have more choice in chipsets like AMD systems do.
Dump FB-DIMMS from xeon systems or make the same chipset with FB-DIMMS or DDR 2/3 ECC. The new xeno chipset with 2 pci-e 2.0 x16 slots should be FB-DIMM or DDR ECC.
Make the new chipsets with all pci-e 2.0 slots not some 2.0 and the rest 1.1 yes the new xeon chip with pci-e 2.0 will only have 2 slots with pci-e 2.0.
