I want to see video cards on the Hyper Transport bus and with that you can cut down on the pci-e lanes needs amd maybe even have a low end chip set with only a few pci-e lanes and sata / ide ports.

When you cut funding some times you don't have the hardware to do full testing and you end up with test code on the sever or a desktop turned in to a test sever. When you waste the codes time on crap like TPS reports useless meetings to tall about way things are running late that does not help.
Windows vista needs a lot of cpu power So 1 core just for the os. 1 for all the back round apps, anti-virus apps, and drivers. leaving 2 cores for your apps / games.
