    Alot of cool stuff on this phone will run up the data bill and the providers will likely force apple to lock the WiFi. Also they will say that the apple phone is a smart phone and you have to pay the smart phone data rates.

    iTunes songs may cost a lot to buy with the phone $0.99 + provider fee + data fee = alot

    I don't play these games right now but I do see one good thing coming form this is a big blow to ELUA's as this will likely give in game items cash value and give gamers property rights.
    But this can also lead to real world jail time and other legal cases and fines for doing things in game like killing a player and taking his things, land, property, gold, cash, and so on.

    Second Life lets people make and run gambling machines with no central authority verifying the workings of the games and that may end up making the game baned in many parts of the us.

    Also this likely will help with Marc Bragg's case against Second Life.

    Windows is not switching targets. Corporations are trying to get by with the low end systems like Celeron , 256 - 512 ram, and gma And that was good for the 4-5 year old xp but not for the new and bloated windows vista.

    Also M$ needs some thing to stand up to OSX.

    Pay more for a slower cpu then with a desktop
    Video cards with less power then a desktop

    Yes companies did wait to go form 2000 to xp and some may have need to add ram to a few systems to make it work.
    But this time that may need to add a lot ram, faster cpu, better video card, and a Bigger HD.
    so that will slow it down even more.

    It is more then just the training of a new arrangement. It's the Compatibility with older docs with formulas , Add-ins and more need to be updated for 2007 and so on.

    The only hard part about adding a browser is the plugins shockwave and flash are a must as well as java but M$ is less likely to add real and quicktime.

    Also $4.75 is too much when the same games on the pc have free on line play.
