sounds like some arcade pricing ways where some games make you pay more then one time / pay the price to start more then one time to play full game and that happens even if you don't die. Why not just go the old say of having a full game + some add one packs at a later time.

Comcast also lies about having more HD. But they count each PPV VOD movie as a channel and they also count the super part time NFL RED ZONE HD, GAME1 HD, Game2 HD, PPV HD, TEAM HD as channels. Even when with GAME1 HD, Game2 HD, PPV HD and TEAM HD only 2 can be live at one time and they only show live events and are far from being 24/7. NFL RED ZONE HD is only live for about 6 hours a day 1 day a week and this not even year round. Some systems also have a 24/7 comcast info channel HD that just shows looping help videos and they are not even in HD But they do have from time to time a HD RSN over flow game on it.
Comcast also seems to play around with there hidden fees. Like Outlet fees and HD fees. Some deals clam free Free HD - no HD access fees or HD equipment fees* but the fine print says stuff like limited to a single outlet and Equipment extra. (so they say free HD and say Equipment extra?) also HD is $9 per box and HD DVR is $16-$20 per box as well.
DVDs / cd's for games will not go away with usa slow download speeds as they are it's just takes to long for most people to download a 9gb+ game and a steam like systems is ok with you just need to be-online form time to time and not 24/7 with good up time.
This is why apple better not have a lock in app store with fees / and something like a 30% cut of sales and the apple app store censorship will just slow down people in makeing games.
A open market with no fees and no lock in / censorship. Is alot better then $99 to be able to come out with free games and even then you have to deal with censorship.

Super locked down systems just lead to high tech work time and people bypassing the system just to get work done with out having to sit on hold / wait for paper work to there job done. and if your help desk spends all day just unlocking and re lock stuff for uses you may be a little to much locked down.

some servers are rate limited so 1 download can't max it out and so others can get a good speed as well.
