English. It's a pain in the ass to learn because there are too many exceptions to the rules or the rules aren't well defined. Look no further than pluralization. Add an S, in most cases. Oh, but if it ends in an y, make it 'ies', like skies.

Unless the word is Monkey, then the plural is Monkeys.

The nice part about the English language is that someone can speak pigeon-English and English speakers understand them very well. All those exceptions teach native-speakers to be accepting of lingual oddities. In some other languages, incorrect verb tense can make the difference between talking about "You" or "She", or incorrect tonality can make a foreigner sound like a stroke victim.

And there's still much waste in PC design. Look at the size of an average notebook versus a typical desktop, There's huge overprovisioning everywhere in the desktop. Computers have been in our faces for so long that we're not only accustomed to them taking substantial space, we practically demand it.

That space directly translates into sturdiness. Laptops overheat and die sooner than desktops, unless the desktops are packed tight like laptops (iMacs) then the desktops die sooner.

Look, Slashdotters think they're Aspies, not Sociopaths. When I refer to my users in the words Zuck used, I don't also snicker and say "they 'trust' me". I call my users dumb ^@$& because they screw something up, but then I fix it for them because I care about them (the job actually does come second).
