Second, if she has a windows system, a Mac support person will copy that over to a bootcamp partition as part of the sale.
This assumes that she has a retail copy of Windows -- my assumption for anyone who didn't realize that Windows doesn't just come with the computer is using a copy of Windows bundled for OEM installation. Those licenses aren't transferable.
Not even Apple (where the "app" store naming seems to be most popularized from) denies that it is about pocket touchscreen programs.
Witness the Mac App store...
4. Looks like US is one of the backwards countries that will try to limit women's access to health care they need. You going to get the 'reform' that will prevent any private insurance coverage for women that includes abortion. This is no joke, even for those who have coverage today, looks like they will actually lose it with this 'reform'. Does not look good.
Highly inaccurate. Not sure where you are getting this information, but as far as I can tell, there is nothing in the bill mandating a removal of abortion access for people who have insurance that covers abortion.
Care to cite that?

You can add functionality to block ads and add gestures via some Windows utilities.
There's a post here that details how to do it. I just did it, and Chrome is a LOT more usable for me. YMMV, of course.

Use hostsman in windows to block ads without having to use adblock.
still no gestures support, but it makes it a lot more usable, imo and with the improved javascript engine, may be worth using day to day.:)
IETab/is/ IE, it just runs inside the tab in Firefox. It's nice for allowing you to run everything in one window alongside your other tabs, but it's not really Firefox.
Also, it's Windows only, which makes sense when you keep the aforementioned in mind.

I believe the software is GPL.
Definitely a better alternative to CDDB and freedb.
We speak about a OS which its filesystem was coded by a Microsoft engineer himself. Yes, the famous HFS (ages ahead of FAT) is a MS filesystem. For some people, NTFS is just a very major upgrade of HFS. Are you sure you aren't talking about HPFS? HFS is an Apple filesystem, as far as I know...
I read the article, and I thought it reflected worse on Dell than it does on Ubuntu, because Dell could have fixed the issues that he complained about -- they already write crappy middleware for Windows, why not just pre-configure the Linux stuff?
I mean, how much does it cost for an mp3/dvd decoder in bulk?
How about making sure that the touchpad worked better with Linux, along with the video drivers?
Seems like Dell has some crappy quality control -- I guess most of their R&D is just done by Microsoft -- surprising that they didn't invest some of the money they saved on Windows licensing in producing a nicer master image for the machines that they are selling.
ID3 tags. Use them. If you don't want iTunes messing with your directory structure, it's a preference away (uncheck "Keep iTunes Music folder organized").
Up to 12 times a day.

Oracle is buying Sun.
Sounds like YesScript is for you.
Mod parent up, please.
Debunked
Yeah, Flash works (Adobe produces a Flash player for Linux), and there are games.
I think 30 seconds of nothing is better than 15 seconds of being advertised to, personally.
You can turn this behavior off.

I must be stealing whenever I drink water from the tap instead of paying Pepsi for Aquafina!
