All the author does is show that 44 of the boolean equations [out the 256 3 input equations in 1-D cellular autmata] Wolfram provides are not minimal. The author also shows that 8 of these are not minimal by inspection, since the maximum size of the minimal equations over this basis is 5.

The number is based on radioactivity of polonium and the maximum load the body can take. True, one can assume this is worst case scenario, with the element perfectly dissolving. Still, microg is 10^-6g, or ~100000 times more than the number stated (10^-12g)

CAPTCHAs are specifically meant to break OCR... and if you RTFA, it say it does poorly with grayscale and color documents. Baisically its meant for reading typed text... like in a book.
I guess I was a bit ambiguous... I meant the total MBs transferred, not the speed. After you use 728 (up + down), then they cut down on your priority. Sort of like a tiered internet, but it doesn't discriminate against what you're running, just by total downloaded/uploaded.
My isp doesn't seem to care how you're using your bandwidth... it just restricts it to 728 MBs... total up and down. It isn't to bad since they throttle it back to about what my DSL at home is (around 700 Mbps). The first day I used 3 GB. Of course, this is because they were the lowest bidder at my apartment complex.
Of course, one thing to consider is delays. Out of the three shuttle launches I remeber, only one went off when it was scheduled (the other two were off by days). Especially after Columbia, and during the summer w/ hurricanes and afternoon thunderstorms.
I did see a spectacular pre-dawn launch from here, I believe. When we went it was somewhat of a last minute thing, so we got stuck in a crappy hotel, but with enough planning, you should be able to get even closer and get a good hotel. And if it doesn't go up when you're there, then your stuck going to the beach or something like that (Oh no!).
Without RTFA, I would say someone like me.... I played N64 then PC games all the time (more or less hardcore gamer, but without the money to spend on an expensive rig). Then my senior year in highschool I stopped playing most games except for a few here and there (b/c of extensive school work and other interests). This has continued through college. I am however considering purchasing spore, but I don't want to have to reboot everytime I want to play it (I use linux, which is now a tertiary reason I don't do much gaming.)
Having switched over to Linux, my primary concenr with this site is will this service work on Linux? Given that the songs are bound to be DRM laddened, I find this unlikely. And even though its free as in beer, the song selection sounds like it will be very limited,at least for now. (I only saw a couple of bands I would possibly listen to in the list of Universal's Artists.)
I would think having large Lagrangian points would mean it has less dominance. The more mass a planet has, the bigger (or more effect they have on other bodies) the points are. Its Jupiter's gravity that is collecting stuff in those points.
As for the transient comets and stuff, its like saying you don't have dominance over your house because there are some ants passing through. And not to mention, its part of the reason Pluto is not a planet under this definition, because in addition to its other problems, Neptune is dominates it.
The center of gravity of the Earth-Moon system is inside the Earth. Therefore it is a satillite of earth. Also, from the reference frame of the earth the orbit is practically circular. And the rotation of the Moon has an equal period as its revolution around earth, do to tidal forces and such.
I was writing my beef with the definition, then I realized it included "...is in orbit around the Sun...", rendering my point about the definition not working for extrasolar planets having odd orbits moot. So anyways, heres the link to the IAU press release: IAU
Actually thats not true: The domains googlecheckout.net/org/info (.com is owned by someone else at the moment) have all been registered to a company called DNStination, Inc.
It makes no futhur mention of who owns the.com, another person entirely (who regitered through GoDaddy)

GPS for gross location, MEM gyroscope for tracking small changes in velocity, position, orientation, etc., and when GPS fails.
Works fine on Ubuntu w/ FF.

Wow... they're up to 3 DVDs now? I used to Ubuntu w/ a CD, and others having at most a DVD.

Don't forget Linux distros... 750 - 4000 Megs a pop.

Oops, should read "I wouldn't think..." or more instead of less.

Then again, I've heard many computer illiterate call the tower the CPU. It always makes me cringe.
Or, even better, both.
