bombing not an act of war?

maybe if this was one explosion I would call it a crime.

    but....

This was a sophisticated and very strategic attack against the united states, crippling our commerce (all trading in the u.s. is stopped until further notice), destroying our primary military intelligence unit (the pentagon is still on fire), and who knows what else that 4th plane was heading for.

God only knows what future attacks are planned against innocent civilians, and yet all I keep hearing is. 'we must punish only those who have done this'

What about the countries which harbor and accept these terrorists? Do they not deserve to be punished? What's to say that if we even catch whoever is responsible for this act of terrorism that another cell wont take command and continue terrorizing the world?

I think the world needs to reach an agreement that any country which harbors any form of terrorists be subject to swift military action approved by the u.n.

the reason why is very simple.

YOU CANNOT, I REPEAT CANNOT RECORD TO MINIDISC THE SAME WAY THAT YOU RECORD TO CD'S.

the reason for this is the fact that minidiscs have a sort of 'atrac firewall'. the only way that you can record digitally to a minidisc is to play music and have a digital output into the minidisc recorder.

meaning that you if want to record 5hrs of mp3's on one minidisc, you're going to have to WAIT 5 HOURS.

    for more info check www.minidisc.org

by the way i'm not joking my cable internet provider is optimum online and if you dont belive me just look in the optimum online forums in http://www.dslreports.com.

  13. ask yourself on Angelina Jolie Is Lara Croft · · Score: 1

The question is will angelina jolie acuratly fit the role of lara croft.

Well physically I'm sure a personal trainer and stylist can be set to change her from oscar mess mode to video game queen. But do we really want an actress to be lara croft or a model look alike? The question is simply answered by this, the movie will undoubtedly be pg-13. So obviously to the disappointment of thousands of 'fans' it will suck. Just like there is no nude code in tombraider there will probably be no nudity in the movie either which will break the hearts of the poor suckers in love with the ficticious video game character.

but.... consider the real life videogame movie patch (kinda like the patch they used to make lara nude in tomb raider 1) Fans can always rent other movies which jolie has appeared nude/semi-nude and still pretend it's the real lara-croft. I'm pretty sure it wont be long before some digital artist with a bit of spare time cuts out a scene from the movie tombraider with angelina jolie and digitally enhances her with her nude shots from the movie 'gia' :-)~

I go to a local community college, it's one of the few colleges if not the only one that not only bans use of email (hotmail, etc.) on it's computers (i'm not sure about this but i've been told that none of the computers in the library are not to be used to check email), but it doesnt have any student email services!!!

They also have a firewall that's restrictive as hell. Basically when you're on campus you can only use ftp, http, and telnet protocols to connect to anything outside campus. Also you cannot connect to any but a couple of computers from outside campus(www, mail, firewall, and ??)

okay, what you do is really simple setup new buildings with condominiums with parking around the nice suburbs surrounding pittsburgh. you know where there's no crime or traffic. Each building should have broadband internet access and some sort of television entertainment package, whether it be digital cable or dss is meaningless. Make a section near the 'geeky' part of town where stores that specialize in computers get to pay reduced taxes... this will encourage more stores to move near the area. last but not least, dont make the prices for the condominiums outrageously expensive
